Why should I be surprised though. . .not because the person is Nigerian. But because people all over the world do it, just because a Nigerian is the one in this article. . .doesn't make him in particular special or unusual. They are just called Nigerians,period.
Even when they are born in America or naturalised,they are described as Nigerian born or of Nigerian parents.
That's just the way it is.
These particular ones just happen to be Yoruba,they may as well have been Igbo or Urhobo.
