This is crazy. That's a very rash and irresponsible thing to say! Are you insinuating that it's people with 8,9,10 people in their families that breed armed robbers? Are they the ones causing strains on the amenities? Are they the ones making society go all crazy? I don't think you meant all that. Check your demographics: people from "scanty" homes are the ones who are at greater risk of problems (suicidal tendencies, psychosis, neurosis, and such). Children in large families turn out to interact with the society and their environment better; they don't sulk or hide in the rooms or want for playmates. But this is not the place or time to throw blames or insults around. The fact is our fathers lived in a different generation, in which contraceptives weren't as common as they are today. Enlightenment on family planning only began some few years ago. So, would you blame families for being large? Definitely not. Going back to the African culture, families were known to be large, and our forefathers could take care of their families. People with one or two kids were at a greater risk of extinction, and I'm sure your forefathers owned large families else you probably won't be here. Come on, pal, be real!
