Jill Scott plays the lead role of Precious Ramotswe in the film based on Alexander Mcall Smith's international best seller
The No.1 Lady's Detective Agency. She has to learn the Tswana culture, customs, and language to play the lead role of Precious Ramotswe.
1,500 locals play supporting roles and 12 local producers, 111 interns, nine musicians, traditional dancers and eight Btv camera crew have been hired for the movie. And the the government of Botswana has contributed US $5 million to support the production of this major film.
