HUMgr software to my understading is HRIS developed by SystemSpec to handle Payroll, PMS, Deductions, Payslips, Leave Allowance Payments & others. I attented the training in 2004 and it has offered me severally. The good thing about HumanManager is u in HR can effectively handle payroll, Bank transaction, loans and all that. However, if Deezle is talking about other software that is not this, please anyone in the house to share more light.

Good Day to the People "People" I'm not a pure HR professional working in the HR dept of a company but i'm a recruiter with LGR Consulting (nobody has mentioned us yet in this thread), a recruitment and People development company. My hat is off to you guys that take care of all aspects of the HR process and to the guys that are keeping this thread going. I especially want to commend yemmight, my brother those that help others find their way will never be lost themselves. I've been following some of the posts on the thread and just thought it would be time to stand up and be counted, so if anyone needs information or perspective from a recruiter, just say the word. best wishes RECRUITERONE

Bum,
Get yourself abreast with current happening in present HR. Get some info @ CIPM, update yourself with current HRIS. If you are Graduate/Affiliate of CIPM, fine & if u are not, get exemption to start from P1 & 2 its just less than a year. With all these I bet you will get a desired job. HR jobs are always available in both Tuesday/Thursday Guardian. One of my colleagues will say that this is our time, I mean HR specialists. Get your CV updated. I can design a CV for you if your CV is not properly designed. Sometimes CVs attract HR Recruiters.
Views,
Apply for redeployment officially to HR Mgr. There is no harm in doing that. You might be lucky applying @ the right time. It could just be the time their looking for an HR person or your application may be kept in view. State your current career status. Sometimes HR consider getting someone in House before sourcing from outside.
Gud Luck all
Please can u tell when the new seasons starts at CIPM so i can make plans to join and hope lecturs are on weekends so i can have time for wrk too,and will appreciate if u can help with my CV too

[b]Hi everyone . My name is Oluyele and i worked for a Consulting firm for a while but had to go back to school. I now work for an educational management firm but my heart is in HR. it is a very challenging work because Hr professionals have to meet the basic organisational needs of the firm and the employees and they are not expected to feel or get burnt out or have desires or have bad days and the like. i would like to have people who are willing to discuss the issues affecting the onflow many people to the HR field these days and also the problems that plaque the Hr professionals in Naija. I would also like to make real good friendship while i am here too. Thank you all and have a great weekend!! Oluyele.

One keen issue in HR is Induction. I was discussing induction with my company when I joined newly and nobody seems to appreciate what it is. This was introduced and even those that have been in the system realized what they missed. Staff induction activities are designed to provide new-starters with the information they need, as well as getting them up to speed on how the organization works. Induction processes are vital to ensuring that new staff are productive as quickly as possible, and should play a key role in knowledge management initiatives.
Please find attached an induction presentation you may find useful.
Best wishes.
