All those girls who worlds are rocked by white guys now will turn 32 and above, they'll then realise that the only way forward is to get naija guys. By that time, naija guys will be wiser to their antics and only use them for sex. They will start saying bad thinsga bout naija guys then, forgetting what they did before.
Time will tell

i'm sure it would do me like film trick when you get married to a white guy. It would also do you like dream when the white guy tells you he has found someone else he loves after 2 years of your marriage I hope and pray no Nigerian man takes you after you have used your mouth to touch the white man in every part. inyamaaaa

Yes, your correct, but every time I'm introduced to a new Nigerian who's associated with her family or Nigerian friends, they always like to say something along the lines of, "ey, you take good care of our sista" or something. It getting pretty annoying.

Her parents didn't have any objection giving her away to you. . .? Just wondering Not at all. She was born and raised here in the US her whole life, and grew up in a large upper class black community. She actually personally considers herself to be more of an AA than Nigerian. Her parents are real cool and have been here in the US for like almost 40 years. They thought I was the perfect guy for their daughter, we have alot in common.

Oh really, most Nigerian parents would have a serious fit if their child ever brought home a black-American. Even go so far as disown . I only know of one such marriage between a black-American and a Nigerianturned out to be a disaster. I feel sorry for the little boy. But I'm glad her family accepted youthat's pretty much the hurdle

I know quite a few Nigerians, Male and Female, who are married to African-Americans and they've all done with their parents blessing, at least I think so. Alot of African-American parents have just as much concern about their kids marrying non-African-Americans as Nigerian parents do about their kids not marrying a fellow Nigerian or even a person of their individual ethnic groups, though when it's all said and done this shield is easily broken through when the mixed couple proves themselves to the parents to be made for eachother through showing day in and day out how well they get along, how they take care and respect eachother and so on and so forth. All that talk about disownership is a illusion, that an clever, determined, smart and disciplined African-American like me and many others have the skills to melt down like butter in a red hot skillet. Win over one parent and the other is easy pickings.

Parents actually do and will disown their kids. I have a friend, she's Ugandan though. We attend the same university, he parents are basically disowning her because of the guy she is with. They have stopped paying her school feesand schools fees are by NO means cheap. The only reason she still has her car was because it was purchased in her name, and they already paid it off. They monitor her phone calls to see who she is talking tolike her entire family is against this. This is just one example. Maybe it's because we don't know Nigerians that have been here for 40+ yearsor even anything close to that. Maybe the parents that are here that long change their mindsbut not the parents that I know. They are serious when they say disownit is not an exaggeration.

Oga hero errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr----Please this girl is young oh!!! Have you been dating since she was 11 years old??? You sound like you are in your 30's!!!! between!!! You know that if she has been raised all her life in America and has never been to Nigeria---she is only Nigerian or Igbo by birth not by experiece. I thought she was a born and bred Nigerian. Not that it makes a difference to the success of your union. Just brainstorming. She is beautiful. Well, goodluck!!!!

She gets that all the time. Lots of folks have thought she was younger than she is. She and I are both only 27 Years old, though that pic was taken back when we were 25. As for her being Nigerian only by birth this is true and she and her sister both acknowledge this and thus the reason that they consider and address themselves as African-Americans, though you are wrong to say that they aren't Igbo, in that one is Igbo by blood. They are simply African-Americans of Igbo descent just as about 60% of the overall African-American population partially is.

@Hero!!!! You go boy!!!! Ain't mad at you at all!!! You are a wonderful role model. Enjoy your family!!! Thanks for clarifying the "age" matter. As for the "Igbo" thing, it is okay---don't really care about that!!! Just happy for your lovely family. These are the types of things we should see on Nairaland! You sound very focused. Keep up your good work. You are definitely a role model to some of our brothers here (Y'all know yourselves in the Romance and Sexuality sections). Your daughter is a "too die for"!!!! YUMMYLICIOUS!!!!
