I don't believe it either, sunej. But it seems that people will believe what they wish despite proven knowledge to the contrary.
The only way masturbation can lead to a decreased sperm count is this: If the quantity and motility of sperm cells is observed following recent ejaculation (as it very well could be in one who masturbates frequently), then that quantity and motility will be seen to be in a decreased state. BUT, the same can be said regardless of recent ejaculation by any means. That's why when couples are trying to conceive, the male is often advised to abstain from any means of ejaculation.
