Christian Leaders

With the systematic pludering of Nigeria by past leaders, leaders with integrity seem almost impossible to get.  Will Christian leaders put an end to this?

We should know those Christian leaders  who want to rule us before I can make assertion.
I say this because some are good and the rest just make the number.

Is President Obasanjo not a Christian leader?  Isn't he the one that summoned Benny Hinn to Nigeria the other time, and didn't he call Pastor E.A. Adeboye to pray for him another time?

Coincidentally I just got back from class and the topic was on Leadership.

Leadership is about influencing people for a particular course and if you notice, there's always a "PURPOSE" when you think of any known leader....Mandela,Bill Clinton(Politics),Adolf Hitler,Winston Churchill(War),Nnamdi Azikwe,Awolowo,Tafawa Balewa(Independence),Bill Gates,Emegwali(I.T), and so on.When you start to dilute that PURPOSE, people get confused and with time you lose followership.

I believe if you are a church leader or any religious leader for that matter, stick to that purpose, build people of high integrity and trust that they will become great people in any field they find themselves......politics inclusive.
I don't believe that any church leader can directly, by being the President of Nigeria, take us to the promise land, will they put only pepole only they know in offices?. It's just me saying my own sha!

If you plunge into something not knowing the real reason why you're going into it, you'll fall out very badly. What I'm saying in essence is that if God didn't tell that person to go and he goes, he might have himself to blame.

If we have Christian leaders with intergrity, let him start from his own local church because, charity begins at home, then from there to his town you know and so......on

God help us.

The solution to Nigeria's problem is I and you.  We can make it happen if we walk together, If we believe in ourselves. If we trust eachother, If we are honest to eachother, If we live in unity, If we behave like one, If we stand for the truth.

We can make it happen

This talk of Religion and God in all that we do is sign of lack of ideas.

People will come out to campaign instead of telling Nigerians their plans they tell you "Only God can stop them", "by the Grace of God they will win" and all that trash. I personally get weary of Nigerian politicians as soon as they start calling God.

Talking about Religous leaders (christain & muslim leaders) they are not to be trusted. Most of them are living in affluence, good house, three cars, kids getting education abroad while the congregation are living in abject poverty.
They keep on preaching dooms day and how the present life is worthless and what people should crave for is life after death. Meanwhile they are enjoying all there is to enjoy in the present life.

don't get me wrong I do believe in God but religous leaders should be responsible to the congregation both spiritually and economically.

It is good to be a Christian i mean a real Christian because it would help to order your actions to bring fair play, justice and the rule of law. but apart from that we need a leader that is creative and has a vision. if you have a leader that is not creative with a good understanding of the nation and it's people then you would get  a worse government than what we have now.

Yes we need christian leaders like REV KING who mollested his church members at will and set them ablaze for sinning against him. I forgot, he even killed that poor girl all in the name of religion. Any Pastor in the race to the presidency is nothing but an epitom of FAILURE.
