Ex, be careful indeed, the scorn of a woman,

If you're gone, I'd have nobody to pick on and that'd be a hollow existence fa. What's up?

iice, i was gonna ask about Max Payne. I talked about it with some guys and they say there are demons in the film. is that true? if it is, then it's gonna be crap for what I loved about the game, apart from the cool action scenes, was the fantastic story. How then could they have incorporated demons into the life of a NY police detective hunting down drug dealers for official and personal reasons? Very unlikely.

Gamine, you been laying low, you have.

This thread is slowly getting boring. I thought the demons in Max Payne were drug induced and supposed to be for his slow motion? Anyway, hello GAmine, Vesc, iice and Ex.

@Vesc

hollow existence?

cor! can one make a black pot any blacker?

@ice zik

hello, student. how are them text books?

being out of here sometimes gives one an out-of-body, Zen-like moment of tranquility beyond the name-calling, jealousy, rage and the bag of hurt that Vesc's inane posts are.

@gamine

Babe, anyone who ever played The Darkness on Ps3/X360 will tell you the producers of Max Payne got the name wrong; what they filmed was the movie version of Darkness with Max Payne uncomfortably ushered in the starring role.

that film sucks worse than a sucker.

The text books are doing aiite. Looks like I'm gonna be having a reasonable browsing place from now on. I'm disapointed to hear about Max PAyne's flop.

im more concerned about Appaloosa's flop, though i havent gotten round to watching it yet. i kept asking why did they go with  limited screening when the cast is tight. by the time they started adding multiplexes the damage had been done.

Spirit, meanwhile, looks like a silly proposition.

right now im downloading YouTube vids of everything Watchmen. ive re-read all 12 chapters over again and i think snyder nailed that sucker right there. even the use of secondary colors in the novel's panels are faithfully recreated.

if they bunk this one i swear i'll slap them.

Hmmmn, very subtle manoeuvre there Ex, calling me Pot and not kettle. That effectively stumps my move of calling you pot instead. Bravo. Checkmate, no, I resign! This censure is too much!

Ice_Zik, this thread has phases like life, when there's no utterly crappy or brilliant movie to talk about, t happens. Plus we're missing Spikyn who has the uncanny ability to jump start us again if only he doesn't stay to long.

Don't worry Ex, Snyder won't fu ck up. The previews I've seen give me goosebumps. Nothing outta this world like that since, well, since the Matrix. Say, Ex, where do I get the comics? Digital that is.

for the watchmen, look here:

http://thepiratebay.org/torrent/3328482/Alan_Moore_s_Watchmen_(complete)

its a torrent but there are 159 seeders and 9 of those fckuing leechers so its good to download. use Opera or get BitTorrent client.

its probably in .cbz format so download CDisplay (its free, google it) to read.

oi! iphone 3G? didnt you say you dont-whats the word, "gbadun"-the iphone 3G?

someone here in nairaland beat you to it.

and no, ITS NOT A GIRL.

and no, IM NOT GAY.

my heart (such as it is) is the best gift i can ever give you. im sure you wont reject it.

Indecent Proposal, hmm. way back with robert redford? demi moore? plot's sketchy but i remember something about a million buckaroos for a one-nighter with some loser's wife.

im in the season too for classics, has-beens and tv re-runs. watched something called Fear Itself on MBC Action, self-contained episodes much like NCIS without the endless lingering of stuff like Lost and Prison Break.

well, seems the ad for Fear Itself is much more scary than the actual series.

@GAmine and Ex

You guys should get a room.  Angry

@Gamine

We thank God O. Now, you can wirelessly browse anywhere in the Library not just MEdia centre as well as in the EIE lab.

@all

I'm watching the new Dr. Who and it's really quite good.

It's funny and interesting all at the same time. It's rare to find a really good British series, but Dr. Who is one of the best. They just finished the fourth season and are going to resume in 2010(A very long wait). What I enjoy about the series is the way they use a very small budget to achieve reasonable special effects. I recommend everyone go buy Season  1-4 on DvD.

Get a room is right

@Gamine. S'up. You no say I be thoroughbred naija boy now. I live, breathe and sleep freebies. Not to mention the obnoxious pop I got who still lives in the 19th century. He gives me enough allowance to about buy lunch. Well that's not entirely true but you catch my drift. P. S. I'm gonna murder your boyfriend. Why don't you take him up on his offer already, and rip out his heart which he so gallantly and whole-heartedly offered. Pun intended.

@Ice_Zik, what's up, daddy o?

@iice, when's your mom gonna leave the bbc website?

@Ex, You know you was gonna come last right? I don't usually save the best for last (I'm over you Gamine). I knew you were colour blind but I thought white was the easiest colour to spot. If I wasn't the most delectable specimen to fancy your bully leanings, you'd have seen my obvious white flag. I wanted to resign, but that was a moment of weakness, besides, this is fun right? You really should send Gamine, your extremities (in the form of your fingers). I'd love to see you type them wisecracks with prothetics?

uh, my dad isn't really obnoxious. That was another moment of weakness. He just thinks the world revolves around him. Is that another definition of obnoxious? Hmmn. I know, I know, I'll go to another thread.

Guys like me or guys like me and Ex?

Either way I'm screwed since you think Ex is all that. And I do not. Former connotes a slighty better meaning though. I'd rather be swept along with Ex than the rest of the world. The dude does have his moments.  Grin. Y'all break a leg in that room. Gamine, how's that old movies thread? Is it still running? I wanna unwind. You'd say I could always check. You're right!

Say, Ex, you in town yet? Not that it matters, but I'm still ruing my chance of hooking up. I'd probably whine (you got younger bros?) till you lend me your hard-drive. If its a regular hard drive because with you, there's no telling what kinda out of this world stunts you'd have pulled with it. Truce!!!!!!!!
