@ice_zik: Dr Who is fantastic, 'Blink' (Season Three, Episode Ten) is one of the very best tv-show episodes I've ever seen.

It's almost Oscar season again and all the contenders are beginning to take their bows. The Secret Life of Bees? I see at least one nominee coming from that one. WALL-E is taking animation gold for Pixar but I'd love to see it get a nomination for Best Pic.

TDK is re-releasing in January to remind the Academy what to vote for too,

I'm going to see Taken and Mongol before the week runs out. Still have yet to see Zohan completely.

Watched parts of the Bourne Ultimatum again, I can see why Spielberg was so tripped with the camera angles and the editing again.

,  And I finally saw the coda at the end of Iron Man with Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Not a big fan of the Ultimate Universe but I guess reboots are the order of the day.

Long time, you only turn up once a month, huh? Yeah, Doctor Who was crazy. What I really liked about it was using a limited budget to still make great tv. Some American series could learn a thing or two from them. I'm hoping to get Season 4 this weekend, I hear that Rose Tyler and Mikey Smith are back. It sounds like it's gonna be good fun. Can't wait. Yeah, I'm also planning to watch Taken soon. I hear it's great movie.

but did you know I'm the reason you keep coming back here? this thread has been dead for ages and the back-and-forth about who saw what, where, and how it panned out is as interesting as a bag of dead toads, so we devised a feud to liven it up.

i mean, who really wants to know what ice zik saw after creeping out of his dorm? or what old series you are watching after your parents have gone to bed and you broke curfew? i mean c'mon, this isnt Twitter. nobody cares what anyone is watching. oh, and if i don't watch a movie, its because i don't want to, and lord knows i don't come here looking for a recommendation from anyone here so lets say its the fun and jest that keeps this thread alive. for me at least.

The appearance of RDJ was as Tony Stark and it's supposed to help tie it into the upcoming Avengers movie. As a fan of the 'oldies', I believe the movies of our age will not live up to the movies of the 40's -70's era. Getting  them is hard sha as you'd have to torrent them or watch them on VHS or buy them in compilation DVDs still,

My sense of humour is fine. Actually what struck me and prompted me to call for a truce was that I suspected a lil bit of ill-will might be seeping in. And I really do not care for a 'real' feud with you, man. I guess I was wrong and Under-rated your sense of Humour. I guess love conquers all. All the love was killing you, wasn't it Ex? Haba, mallam, how can you say it's boring talking about movies? I started this thread immediately after joining nl and it sorta blossoed into a whole lot more. I admit the brook finally ran out of water and I admit that you are the main reason behind my coming back here but that's just because there've been nothing good going on recently. Me and Spikyn also have tons to talk about as per oldies. A very tight fan-base but we do our best. Why am I justifying myself? Anyways, since we understand ourselves, may be continue? @Spikyn, I hope you mean 'No One Knows' is the only song you'd give up space for in you ipod and not that you diss the rest. I get most of my movies in about the same way as you minus the compilation stuff. I haven't left this country before so I can only ask for them to be sent and so far people have been untrustworthy to say the least. VHS, I couldn't play them even if I do lay my hands on them. PM me so I know if we can do a one-way echange
