Thank Good For Good And God Fearing Nigerian, Lost But Found
I entered a taxi from a bus stop down to the junction of my house. on getting home after 30min, i discovered my phone was missing , I called the number for more than 30min nobody picked it , then i called a friend to tell him my phone was missing , we were now trying the number together ,fortunately the driver picked it and said we should come and collect it back at the bus stop , he waited at the bus stop for us and told us a passenger saw the phone ringing and gave it to him .Thank God that we still have good people in this our land .

@ Poster Please do not be comfortable with that o. That's like one of the 10% good noble Nigerian. when my friend forgot hers in a cab, the cab man pcked up the phone and told her to forget about the phone that it now belongs to him. And advised her to go and retrieve the line that he was about to throw it away

there is another good example of a very good nigerian, (the cab driver),and there are many like him) my younger sis picked someone's phone once, after a while it rang and she picked it. the person calling was not the owner and asked to speak wt d owner but she explained that she found it and if he could get intouch wt the owner he could tell him/her to come for it. later he called again wt the owner and she told them where to meet her and when they got there she returned the phone after the guy give a description of it nd some of the nos stored on it. so u see there are still a lot of good naija pikins in the seemingly corrupt land of ours @poster thank your god it was he who found your fone and not some1 like aluwe

No she didn't. The poster and all the legions of haters were unable to provide any concrete proof apart from that unsubstantiated article in the Punch, and links to random forums like this one, all in turn quoting the Punch article. not exactly the most trustworthy of sources, is it? nairaland unfortunately is riddled with idiots like you. the average Nairaland user is far more likely to research the sources of a post that says 'genevieve is dating Jim Iyke' than 'Oprah says all Nigerians are corrupt'.

@ akins4 & carlosein
I still marvel at the way Nairalanders spits on each other's faces in disagreement, and later come back to clean it up nicely with apology in agreement. I think that's one thing that makes Nairaland a place to be. Big up guys.
@ post
That tells you that Nigerans are not outrightly bad. At times I look stupid while defending Nigeria and her citizens herejust because my people sometimes go to the extremebut I tell you, cases like this inspires me and makes me want to announce to the whole world that corruption, fraud, dishonesty etc. are afterall not the order of the day in my country.
