Pardon me for asking this silly question, but why Igbo's are light-skinned.  Is it b/c of climate or they are mixed with white folks?

Even though I know my advice will go unheeded, can we stop all these Yoruba Vs Igbo Vs Hausa, etc going on here. In as much as some of us do not like it, we are One Nigeria. These diatribes will not get us anywhere, rather its only going to cause divisions. I deal with a lot of white / black racial to come to NL and face another one from my brothers and sisters. where is the youtube link to conclusively decide that yorubas in lagos"have more poo"as you so graphically put it?
hope you remember lagos is a cosmopolitan city,so unless you r saying the ibos live in a completely different area amongst each other then i fail to see how this assertion makes any sense, dont let tribal bigotry/intolerance form your though process because it often times affect an objective way of thought

When it comes to light skin in Nigeria, I think the Fulanis hold that post followed by the Calabari people the Igbos only come third. Why do people ignore smaller ethnic groups? Calabari people are very light skinned. I've been to Abonema and many other Calabari land like Opobo. They are really light skinned. Have anyone been to Badagry to see the Yoruba people there? They are majorly light skinned too. Even including bleached skin, the Fulanis will beat the Igbos in light skin competition. It has nothing to do with temperature cause the Fulanis live in harshly hot weather. Go to Ondo state and see Light skin Yorubas plenty plenty. I still think light skinned Nigerians are not beautiful compared to the dark skin and caramel skin tone. Isn't Genevieve dark? Agbani nko?

Na wao!! When people are saying Lagos is bad and it's a slum, people always point at Yorubas . But when people say Lagos is where things happen in Nigeria and it's lively plus there are exotic beaches and nice houses, Igbos are quick to say Lagos is made what it is by Igbos. Make another Lagos then. I traveled all over Nigeria and to be honest only PH, LAG and Calabar are lively. Others are just ran by hyper religious folks. Both Muslims and Christians!

You also pointed out the African beauty features (wild nose etc, ) So wide nose is not beautiful anymore? It's a sign of beauty like my Biology teacher told me: It's a sign that you have a good gene and your kids will be beautiful even if you aren't. btw ,  the albino gene has nothing to do with it . having the gene doesnt make uu lighter . either you're the color uu were meant to inherit (&& uu are a carrier ,  meaning uu carry the gene buh its not dominant), or uu are simply albino (as in no color , and blonde hair) . loll and another thing ,  albinos are really pretty in my opinion .
