The story is brief and quite analytical,i get the point.I presume you are asking for advice or opinions on which way forward.
Here is my own brief advice,since you have academic CREDENTIALS that may not be to encouraging in the labour market i advice you develop your POTENTIALS as an IT entepreneur.It's never too late to get started.First decide on the field of IT that you would like to develop yourself e.g WEB DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT, SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT, CISCO & NETWORKING, ORACLE DBA, MOBILE APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT etc,
Get started by taking the right step in the right direction,start to learn now while you are working as an employee at the small company you currently are.

LMAO, So, I have been scratching my head now for quite a while and I think I can now see why I didn't do well in my philosophy and logic classes at UNICAL  If the guy were a movie screenwriter (hint, hint for him  ), he would definitely know how to write scripts for suspense movies. |
