You've probably damaged the soft tissue of that joint-hence the recuurent dislocation.
What you really need to do is to see a REPUTABLE Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at one of the tertiary health centres in the country.
It is quite possible you might need an arthroscopic repair of the damaged liagment/cartilage or you might have to live with it- a lot of people do actually (& some folks because its happened to them so many times,can actually on their own pop the joint back into position without having to go to the casualty!)
I say the latter because you said the initial accident happened about 3 years ago,so I'm not so sure if anything drastic can be done now.
Best see a Consultant Orthopaedic Consulatant for assessment,
