@poster,
Dont listen to all the thrash some layabouts are posting here.

Olowo Tee says it all.Read her comments again and act on them. There is no human being, born of woman, who does not have talent/s.When you discover things you have a natural aptitude for, they lead you to your talents. You can make a living off your talents if you develop and sharpen them, and of course if there is a market for them. Many people are making a living in areas outside of their natural talents, but it is tougher this way.

I wish u all the best.

I can see you have a talent in dissing people. You can't even spell Octopus right.
@Poster
Heed my advise.Your talent will come naturally when Owu start to dey blow

i think nigeria and our parents do  not even encourage us to develop our talent.

Nigerian society because its now artist, actors n footballers are getting a little recognition, but then what of other talents like basketballers,n others?they are not encouraged even our parents want us to study medicine, engineering etc.only those who were lucky to have enlighted(not educated o! but of the new age) parent  were able to overcome these things.

take me for instance;i was a good artist and designed from my youth.but my parents were just not it.fine,am ok now working fine.but i still wonder were i would have been if i had followed my talent and please don't tell me i would have followed my dream without my parents!!!!!!!!!!!!! They always look demoralised every morning while
going to their supposed "jobs".Taking a look at the
faces of most Nigerians especially Lagosians while
sitting in the "molue" always depicts a picture of
a set of slave been moving to a sugar cane plantation.

After much diagnosis of what is causing this symptom,
i got to realised that most people are sticked in
wrong professions and working environment.
Suggesting that most people are just putting
up with their jobs, and not necessarily enjoying it.

In addition, it occurred to me that the crime most of
these group committed were they have not discover
their natural talents, gifts and abilities, and passions.

So the moral of my observation to all nairalanders
and Nigerians is to strive and discover our calling
because all human beings are prophets and prophetess
in one area or the others of human endeavour. Also,
we are co-creators with God on earth.Always remember
the co-creator name such as:Thomas Edison, the Wright brothers,
Mother Teresa, to mention but few.

Another prophet have just spoken.

This may come to you as an unpopular approach to discovering your talent. However, I pray your eyes will be opened to reality of life. The Word talent was used by Jesus Christ in one of his parable. Talent from this Great Master means Valueable deposited in you. This is a capital (Asset +Liability) you never struggled to get.

My man look critically into yourself you will discover some of this in you. To some for lack of Courage, they are unable to see through thenmselves.  What is it that you see people do that you think in yourself you like but you can do it better.  Then be caurageous to join those people to learn what tghey do from there you begin to get comments from other about that potential in you.

Talents are the inborn ability to do some things in an extra ordinary way.

On a lighter note, what talent do you think a riff-raff can have. You can only be a vagabond. C'mon keep rolling the streets! Grin

On a serious note. Whatever you know how to do best or whatever you enjoy doing most is your talent. Just keep on with it and develop skills in it and it will pay off. People get paid most for doing what they enjoy doing most. playing football for instance, or all these fuji or hip-hop musicians around. That is the way it is my brother.

hello Riff-Raff,
I believe there are many people like you who do not know what their talents is, but i thin kit is usually because they are usually trying to see othe people's talents in themselves. I believve there must sure be something you do effortlessly, that does not have to stress you out, that you do with so much passion. Find your passion then you find you talents even if it is just listening to other people.
I am sur eit is just waiting to be discovered remember however that you do not have to think to hard to discover yur talent.

Bone! Na hunger dey comot talent!

I used to think i had a talent in women and love Undecided.
Until i winessed first-hand, hunger and poverty.
Then i realized several talents i could use to survive.
Now m back on my feet and Hell i know what talent could be

I will say another word for talent is 'most nautral ability'. you could really desire something and work hard at it that it becomes 'natural' for you. Most times talents will come up when you are in a bad-ass situation.
