The blog was ok; unfortunately, the issue with the posting comment section wasn't encouraging. It'll scare away would-be-comment-poster.
Rule of thumb: suffer not your readers. Entering one google account name and password just to post a comment,    most people would pass.
May be you should leave it open. Let your target audience (may be nairalander) use what ever names they want. Yours is to seive through the junk that comes to your site, separate paul from barnabas and improve on the blog. Na my opinion o. But na your site
