I am working on a site in which i will love 2 have a public and Private chatroom there. Although, i have no problem with the Public chatroom, i need your help on creating a private chat in which a user can click on a username in the list of online chatters to private chat him/her. @Tobsi PHP121 is a free web based instant messenger - written entirely in PHP. This means that it will work in any browser on any operating system including Windows and Linux, anywhere!
I wish i could help you implement it but due to my current workload i will just give you some tips.If you have php mysql running on your hosting server you will need to create a database and tables for the php121 chat module.
I hope it works,i have implemented it on a couple of sites and it works fine.it's built using AJAX however its deployed via php and mysql as its back end.
