Dear Landers,
I really don't know how 2 start this but I guess I must start somewhere. This month is really a month of testimonies and I have one 4 d house. I received my appointment letter just ystaday from First Inland Bank after having done the documentation & medicals on d 19th of July in their Head Office @ V.I and I wuld resuming work on Monday the 23rd in Owerri.
I do believe that u all that r still expecting ur's will get it sooner than u expect. Never loose faith.

guys tnx 4 your words of encouragement. I wish u all success 2 because i know what its like.
Now about d interview, its going to be in 2 stages 4 sure. u will get in2 d 2nd stage only if u scale through d first. In d first stage, u wuld be asked first 2 tell them about yourself in less than 30 secs. please don't rush it so that u wuldn't make mistakes. what comes next might be determined by their interest on any point u might have raised while talkin about yourself. u wuld be asked about your knowledge about d banking sector and operations. try 2 ansa as you're able 2. then u wuld also be asked about d relationship between your course and d bank. if dey would want u in marketing, then expect questions from that area so try to know a little about marketing strategies because u might be asked 2 market your phone or sumtin 2 them as a test. also expect 2 be asked how u submitted your cv 2 them, i.e through hard copy or online. please u wuld be expected 2 ask them questions. they appreciate it a lot so ask them about their products and ongoing promos but please never forget 2 massage their ego but don't over do it. well that's all i can remember 4 now about d 1st stage.
When you're done wit d first stage, start praying hard that u get called to the 2nd stage. It wuld be immediate, as in that same day. u wont even have 2 leave d bank because dey wuld start calling d successful ones immediately after dey have drilled everyone in d first stage. D second stage is quite cool and tough at d same time because u would be facing nuttin less than 3 top shots in d bank, viz: the regional manager, branch manager and head of personnel but don't panic sha, dey might be worn out 4 d day and if it happens 2 be so then dey wont ask u much because they wuld be itching 2 leave their. dey wuld also start with u telling them about yourself. in this case be audible because they wuld be conversing among themselves but do not be deceived because they r attentive 2 every detail. and if God be on your side that day, they might just ask you to go after u've told them about yourself but if you're among d first set of people dey r meeting then expect more questions. in my case i only talked about myself and while i was only half way in2 d story i was asked 2 stop and go. please note that if your told 2 go and dey add that dey wuld get back 2 u, it means that you're home free.
But please put d whole thing in God's hands because he has d final say. You guys didn't mention d interview date so i hope it comes soon because they really need more hands because more branches wuld be in operation before December.
ps: sexyella and A-wai, i wuld like 2 hear from u both on or before d interview date. even when you're their, let me know how it goes. if u make it to the second stage keep me posted so that if there is any question u might have about their regional heads before goin in 4 stage 2, i culd ask in my branch. reach me on 08024172702. am looking 4ward 2 testimonies from you to and other landers.

this is 4 d bro who called 2 ask me what he wuld say if asked 2 explain how his course of study (pet. eng) can be useful to the banking sector.
Well apart from talkin about d analytical abilities which engineering has enabled you to acquire though technically, d plain answer to the question is this : "that u believe that as a university graduate, u will be able 2 fit in2 any field u find yourself in due to the fact that u've been oportuned 2 touch a liltle bit of everything while u were in school". i was told that this is d most reasonable answer 4 one whose course aint bank related because 4 you to answer a graduate, u should be able 2 learn fast and fit in wherever u find yourself. trust me on this because i know of someone who was told that by d panel who interviewed him in Enugu.
please try 2 find out d name of d regional head around ur area. check d bank site. for those in d east, find out more info about d draw that took place 2day in Enugu in respect to the win as u wish promo so u culd ask them intelligent questions about it.

dude am glad u r done wit d interview and i hope u spoke well. if u r successful, u will hear from them in 2 weeks time. at d most 3 weeks. if u do, d text message might read "U've been invited 4 an interview @ , time , " when u see sumtin like that, relax because it aint no interview u r being called 4. it's 4 documentation and medicals though if they r in d mood, they might still ask u some questions.
please stay away from alcohol or any other stimulant 2 days before ur medicals, AM SERIOUS. leave d popping of champagne and knocking down of green bottles until after ur medicals so that it wont influence d result. and i hope u aint positive . try 2 drink enough water before d medicals so that u will giv them d best urine sample ever.
now after d medicals, u will get 2 hear from them within 3 weeks. where u fail to hear from them, please call me so i culd tell u what u need 2 do. because i experienced sumtin similar. then please make ur suits available. black, navy blue and gray.
as 4 training, well get ready 2 resume immediately because ur training wuld be on d job whether u fall in marketing or operations. i hope u r conversant wit computers. but don't be tensed u will learn fast because am just 2 weeks old and i started fitting in right from d first week. don't complain about d on-the-job training because d pay will make it worth ur while.

i know lotsa peeps will want 2 know y i didn't giv my bank email id, well d reason is simple: banks operate on intranet wit their IT people responsible 4 creating their ids which are generated from a particular webmail host so all mails r easily monitored even if u change ur password. so that is d reason.

if you are then what took themsolong to call you for the medicals and the job itself because me i have started since tow months ago.
it is a good thing that all ofus has a good story to tell onthe site.i
