IBB stepped aside because anenih told him to step aside, also because of the annulment of june 12 election.
Anenih had told IBB that he had overstayed his welcome and that if he did not leave he would give the final signal for his men to implement strike all accross the country.
Ibb was scared because he did not want oil to stop flowing, because this would have caused international problem even america started putting pressure on IBB because they where aware anenih was about to call for stike.
Infact the strike had already started in certain parts of the country and in certain companies or have you forgotton that this happened just before IBB step aside.
so you can see that anenih has the power to cause economic problem not only in nigeria but to affect the price of oil on the international market.
