Its was a sad day again in Ketu area of Lagos state. Gang of robbers attack First Bank at the early hours of today. They shot dead a mobile-police and a guard.The incident occured shotly after i left the area (I left for work earlier today), though very close to my house. This is a sad story indeed. I read a realistic joke some days about the consequences of banks influx to the metropolis. Its has been proved right once again. If you look at mile 12 - ojota you will see as many as 10 banks. Now the robbers have started.
I think its high time we moved to cashless based economy. This is claiming innocent lives!
It happened about 10.30am. So many innocent lives were lost because the robbers were firing directly at the crowd during their getaway. The police station at Mile12 was also burnt (i heard d inmates in d cell were burnt in d process, ). I wouldnt know if it was d robbers that did that or angry residents. I could not go to school (teaching hospital) today for that reason.
This country dey fear me o. Lives and properties aint safe anymore. I just weak . . . .
