In Italy the only job is prostitution, in Brittain mostly cleaning and America is mostly taxi driving and caring for old people (cleaning sh*t) that 90olds leave behind. My friend the prospects are not good, I have to tell you the truth before you embark on your journey. If you don't believe me, you will thank me when you reach there so be prepared. |

To get a visa to UK is not hard as long as you have all document and they are original.You will get your visa.

hey guys this is a serious forum so please NIN & NIDs sheat your swords. Poster cngrats on your visa, I hope you know u are in for a serious academic work and there will be little or no room for mess ups. Given the course you want to study, i know you will have no problem getting part time jobs be it on campus or off it so just relax an average british youngster does not have the skills you have so I'm sure you will always get something that will put change in your pocket.
Once more congrats but be prepared to work hard and come back and add value to this country

u could do the Health care assitant course in london to survive during uni (3 wks) & u don't have to clean people butt, you might get a job in a rehab centre where all what you have to do is take blood pressure, temperature e.t.c because the clients are able to clean their own butt & wash themselves u will just be looking after them & making reports. there is no heavy litting required.

congrats, you can do any course you want but i'll strongly advise you do science base because that's the only thing you can easily adjust to coming from nigeria straight and ask for adaptation course as well it is 6month, don't worry about people being sarcastic about you coming GOD THAT PUT YOU THROUGH WILL SEE YOU THROUGH

To be more constructive, as a student you are only allowed to work 16 hours a week
Depending on where you are there are a variety of student jobs in retails shops, chemists, cinemas and if you are lucky offices such as accounting firms (your field as i understand) who are looking for part timers with flexible hours such as students
But be prepared to work hard and work most weekends
Looking for a job is not easy regardless of who you are and what skills you've got so make sure you sell yourself well and work on your presentation skills

PTH was only joking because that's what they used to yab those abroad . don't worry about jobs. for now focus on your going and your schooling, get used to the academic styles. that should be uppermost. once you are settled, getting a part time job on campus won't be a problem. start lowly and then with time you will see other jobs on campus and apply. you don't need to do any course in Nigeria to get a job in school. you are coming to learn right? so whatever experience you have should be fine. if you see a job you like and don't have the experience, don't worry because with time everything will fall into place. |
