wurdz,

if i were you, i wdnt worry about where to get materials.  Just put yourself in the shoes of a pharm sales person.  What would you like to see in a program you would be willing to buy?  Think objects.  Think processes.  Think fellow sales people.  Think clients.  I am sure you will come up with something.

If everyone did what you are thinking of doing, then everyone would be giving the same presentation.  Don't you think your professors are googling for the very same thing and it is a possibility that you could be flagged for plagiarism?  Try to be unique.

I hope this helps.

@ poster

Analysis, the first and the most important part of any project.

Why don't you go into a pharmarcy and interview the pharmacist, sales staff, suppliers, etc and even possible customers, and you would be amased how much information you could gather.

I would also advise you to design a good system and possibly encourage pharmarcy to get on board and probably sponsor you for the project, and who knows where it would lead. Did the same for my final year project and I now charge the company an annual lincense fee after the deployent of the project, even though it was their idea in the first place.

Best of luck

ever heard of Rich Internet Applications? what you doing seems built for that kind of solution. Two options exist: Ajax or Flex. You can write the backend in PHP. as someone earlier said, the project is simply about process automation. Just think in terms of the processes and associated entities. Go to a company and analyse the workflow and define how far you really want to go.
