It's being a while now but i don't think it was action packed like OWO-BLOW The thing i liked about it is the Ijinle Yoruba they used through-out the movie and it was set in the olden era. It's more about Love, Romance and comedy OWO- BLOW was tragedy through out.

You reckon?
OWOBLOW is very hilarious especially how 'em miscreants hustle hard on the streets of lagos. The slangs, language and the aura about them just makes me want to relocate to Nigeria.
The movie is a master-class and i can watch it everyday for the next 10 years. Yinka Quadri was a pussy and i hated him for the nasty role in the movie.

True that!!! MY mum has watched it for the 100th time and she still sheds a tear when she does. I like the street life potrayed in the movie too and when they were caught one trying to grass-up on owoblow and the other trying to protect him.

There can never be anutha OWOBLOW movie. Tade Ogidan's works was top-notch.
The closest to it was MADAM DEAREST and its not quite as captivating as OWOBLOW. These days, most of 'em yoruba movies are wack and lack good production and directions.

@K2DaC,
Close your windows, Lock your doors and switch off all cell-fones. Get a sack of pop-corn and loads of beer and watch OWOBLOW I-III. You will love the experience. OWOBLOW is loadz better than the Lord of The Rings Triology + Fast & Furious waxed together.

initial post by olat; @babwills, Its all about a King that mistreat his people (the people of Jogbo). He exploit them and denies them of the economic benefit of the state (just like Niger Delta). Hope u remeber now, Atleast u'll remeber the supposed Princess (Araparegangan) and the Prince (Aresajabata). Incidentally, the Arasejabata was my school girl Simply put, it is a look into Abacha's regime. Shina Peters guest starred singing "ebi n pa mi mo gbe shu le naa, " and Adebayo Faleti was the diplomatically eloquent old man that continually sang played "ko le ye wan, ohun bo wa ye wan lola" Wonder from whence one can get a copy of Ti Oluwa ni ile, Saworo ide, Oko, Owoblow, Ayomide, Oleku,
