Schnyder losing as well is quite a surprise

One Serb down!
Venus crushed Ivanovic 6-4, 6-2 to move into the QF where she'll meet the winner between Jankovic and Bammer.
Nadal also strolled into the fourth round where he'll meet Ferrer, who beat Nalbandian. I thought Tsonga would cause an upset before the match started, but the would number two proved too strong for the 22 yr old.
Other Results:
Chela - Ljubicic 6-4, 6-7, 2-6, 6-3, 6-3 Ferrer - Nalbandian 6-3, 3-6, 4-6, 7-6, 7-5 Nadal - Tsonga 7-6, 6-2, 6-1 Monaco - Calleri 7-6, 6-2, 6-4

There must be a lot of pissed off female stars fuming over the fact that the Williams sisters are seeded so lowly
Venus eliminated Sharapova early at Wimbledon and now Ivanovic

Big upset - Sharapova's out. . . . beaten by a player ranked seeded 30th; she's got only herself to blame, she was given a pretty easy draw and would only have meet any of the other top seeds in the finals!

Henin crushed Safina 6-0, 6-2 to set up a QF match with Serena.
Venus will meet Jankovic in the QF. Jankovic needed another three sets (6-4, 4-6, 6-1) to beat Bammer.
Are we going to a Williams sisters SF showdown, Jankovic/Henin-allowing? Naaa.
Remaining Third Round Results (Men):
Djokovic - Del Potro 6-1, 6-3, 6-4 Wawrinka - Ginepri 5-7, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 Moya - Kohlschreiber 4-6, 7-5, 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 Gulbis - Robredo 6-1, 6-3, 6-2

On the strength of Henin's form, we might just be seeing the end of Serena's US Open. . . . one thing is 4 sure sha, ain't not g'onna be no Williams 1 & 2 here!
Jankovic could pull off an upset here. . . Venus tends to switch off atimes; if it was Jankovic/Serena, i'm sure the latter would bully the living day lite o'utta her but Venus. . . . . she's very beatable!

Hmmm I don't think Jankovic has the weapons to beat any of the sisters. She can only win if they beat themselves Ivanovic has more weapons than Jankovic but Venus beat her in straight sets Jankovic sort of reminds me of the Hingis, Novotny and Majoli's of this world Very steady, no major shots(maybe forehand), but try as much as possible to get the ball back And have you seen her serve, it is modest at best, in the 90mph zone

I might have a little flutter on Kutznetsova winning the whole thing now that Sharapova is out
She shouldn't really have any probs getting to the final and and anything can happen once there
Berdych fails to live up again Shame considering he has all the tools and shots to be no 1

Who in this world doesn't know she's proud! She atributes all her losses to injuries or her having a bad day or she giving out the match or something irrational. She admitted she would have ignore the post interview, if not for the $10,000 fine.
Djokovic used to be that way too. He seems to have changed.

Another Federer win against Roddick IMO. I think Federer will win this title again. But I'll love to see someone else win. Serena doesn't know how to accept defeat. Its clear she can't beat Henin.

Federer overpowers Roddick 7-6, 7-6, 6-2 to book a place in the SF. Federer surprisingly out-aced Roddick 15-14!!!. He will face Davydenko, who is yet to drop a set in this tournament.
The other men's SF will be between Djoko/Moya and Ferrer/Chela.
Venus will seek to avenge her sister's loss to Henin when they meet. She outlasted the second Serbian in her path, Jankovic 4-6, 6-1, 7-6. Venus holds a 7-1 head to head career record against Henin.
We shall have a Russian in the final as the two other semi-finalists are Russians - Chakvetadze and Kuznetsova.
