What's Your Favorite Nigerian Airline And Why?
« on: August 21, 2007, 03:03 PM »

My preferred airline is Arik Air because they fly brand new jets (737-700 and CRJ-900) and because of their wide network especially from Abuja (Lagos, Calabar, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt, Kano, etc.), Although the inflight service could use some improvement, and no frequent flyer program available,

What's your take, and what has been your experience?

Please, who owns arik and where does it fly to in Nigeria.  So I can avoid those tin cans when I decide to fly in Nigeria. Well,  that has partially been answered in the poster's comment.

Rockson Engineering and Arumemi Johnson clan are the owners of Arik Air.  Their company is involved in oil and gas.  Although it's rumored that Peter Odili is also behind this airline (backstage).
