no be your fault bush woman!  Grin My typical dress style involves usually a white or blue sweatshirt, blue loose fit jeans pants or camo shorts and Nike sandals. A wrist watch on my left wrist and that's it. Probably sunshades to go with that.

No rings, chains, bracelets or ear rings.

Hold cold is it in NY? I remember my friend in Queens telling me some days back that the weather's been kind of funky lately. America seems to be going through alot with this whole weather crap. I learned some days back, there was a huge tornado in a town named Winona in southern Minnesota that left many people homeless.

  guys maybe someone can explain to me why so many naija dudes like wearing those short ties? what they didn't have money to buy the full/long size? those short things are sooo ugly in my opinion.

  and I forgot who mentioned something about men wearing their sizes, guys stop wearing jeans/pants that are 5 sizes bigger than ur waist! and then sagging them to show ur "calvin clean" boxers, not attractive!
  also those "super tight-fitted" muscle shirts are old news, you don't hafta show display ur muscles to that extent. Most of us girls would actually prefer seeing you in a nice fitted shirt, and casuals - looking real classy.

I can not speak for all Naija men but the ones I dated and still dating  Grin Grin are top class when it comes to style. They know what looks good on em and they wear it. I think some people ( men and women) just try so hard. as far as am concern either u have it or u don't.  Wink

Men of a particular tribe(that I'm sure y'all can already guess) dress so STUPIDLY. They wear things like flower patterned shirts over chequered pants. They leave their shirts unbuttoned to the middle to show off their 'white' singlets and HUGE pendants. They wear odd coloured pointed shoes and funny looking eyeshades.
You knw what tribe that is dnt you?

I love it when my Big bro dresses and wish my guy could dress like that.
Very few Nigerian guys dress properly,majority just wear rubbish and only know how to pierce their ear and fry their hair,that iritates me.
They should atleast dress well before copying the westerners.hisses

« #158 on: August 22, 2007, 10:41 AM »

@babyosisi, you know them all.
Some Nigerian men don't know how to dress,when to dress and how how to dress. The bad dressing code goes to the OMATAS anywhere they are in the country and to few educated ones. Aonther one is the kind of friends you have can also contirbute to ur poor dressing code and again money and some is in-born. How can someone put on a native trousser with stip shirt and face cap,red tie and white shoe,GOD! it is sooo irretating.

Again some Nigerian women abuse fashion. Some of them go with heavey make-up with different colors. Poor dressing code is in all Nigerian genders. But at the same time you will see some decent and good looking handsome men with lovely attire. Some men knows how to match color and some are otondo. So that thing that is man is also in woman.
