Laptop: Which Way To Go?

Well I'm going to be honest with you guys. I really need your help as I don't know what to do. I want to get a new laptop computer and I don't know what brand and features I should go for. Believe me I helped my friends make their choices and I have a dell before but now I'm confused. Note: I'm this kind that likes buga so please give me your opinions on what to buy please,  And possible reasons for your choices.
