Well to a new comer this will be some kind of mystery.nairaland is a free site that has over 120,000 members.This large community of users share and post information about various topics from politics,business,movies,poetry,software development to even nigerian culture,and the good part is that it is absolutely FREE!!!The traditional business model will suggest that fo Seun Osewa to make money from nairaland,he should charge each user to enable them access this online forum.
yeah we all agree that nairaland is Nigeria's largest community forum,but who knows how much the owner is making?

Its not really an issue asking how much the admin is worth l, i think there is a site that value any website according to how popular it is and with other factors , they also tell u how much a site could be worth in dollar terms , sorry i forgot the site link  |

I believe http://www.alexa.com has some info on site popularity, traffic, etc. Don't know about dollar estimates though. But judging from the no.of members of this forum (members are scattered worldwide), it is possible that from adsense revenue, the administrator must be making some good dough. |

No, but I have an inverter and a very large car battery that lasts all day when using it with any laptop.
Right now, thanks to NEPA, I'm working by candle-light. Using a candle to illuminate my keyboard. How poor!

I used to *live* at a cyber-cafe/ISP doing research (for 2 years) but then I came back home and was fortunate enough to get affordable dial-up Internet access. I started Nairaland on my Celeron desktop.
