My sista, I agree whole heartedly with you. It's worse when they say things like ' bothy' instead of 'body' and 'cuth' instead of 'cut' all in a bid to sound foreign. They sound so daft!! That's why Nkem Owoh appeals to everyone because he doesn't try to fake anything. So I would definitely slap any of those foreign accent- fakers  |

i would slap the executive producers, producers and directors because they allow the babash we see on TV. We Nigerians can cry on watching Titanic, jump of our seats on watching Casino Royale but a white man cannot watch an Aki n Pawpaw flick. Why? Bollywood (indian film industry) is now well respected by film critics all over the world. Note: They havent changed their plots to hollywood or western plots. They are still deeply rooted in their culture. Storylines make sense and movie well shot to standard. Best foreign film at the Oscars some 5yrs ago was won by the war torn nation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. We fool ourselves by accepting the mediocre works and giving hype to the nonsense. Even the standard hollywood movies are still been heavily criticized. That way the industry grows. Slap all exec-producers.
