Jerry
It's quite simple really. Your PC fails to meet the minimum recommended system specs to play the game.
Your Via Samuel processor is no match for the Intel P3
You only have 224MB RAM available after reboot. the game asks for 256MB
You have no 3D GPU of note to render the game graphics

Just give it up now, while you still can  Grin

Jerry,
Yes, it may be a mercury board, but the Processor in the board is a VIA Samuel, a pale shadow of the Pentium 3.
It cannot run any modern game at all, and it'll even struggle with higher resolutions of oldies like Unreal Tournament.

Even a 3D graphics card won't save you.
But seriously, you're way way due for an upgrade.
