Sql*plus On Oracle

His any one in the house familiar with SQL*PLUS on oracle?
I am new to Oracle and i have problems login in to my SQL*Plus,is there any troubleshooting hint i could get,i tried reinstalling the package but alas it wouldn't work still-i would like to remove the password and user name thing if possible so i could access it directly.urgent replies would be appreciated

Hey, have u tried using hr/hr or scott/tiger?

Try this on your command line:

C:\> sqlplus hr/hr

If the account is locked, log in as the system administrator:

C:\>sqlplus / as sysdba

and unlock this way:

SQL> alter user hr identified by hr account unlock;

To connect as hr:

SQL> conn hr/hr
