Likely is an understatement and an underrating of the U17 team. They always go on to do exploits - kanu, Opabunmi, Amunike, Oruma,

If they are made to graduate in to the next U20, then we shall having a commando squad at the next U20 championships

Before i say anything, please remove Opabunmi from the list.

The Under-17 team is a team i tipped for glory since the day the defeated France. It seems to me france has the strongest team in this tornamnet. If they can beat France, Brazil shouldn't be a problem. This are the teams likely to stand in their way.

Every Nigerian team in any tourney have the potentials to reach the final but never the guts to lift the trophy. Mark that.

Olusegun Adeyemi died some years ago. Meningitis was the cause of death. He was a Gombe Utd player at the time of his death. He was a decent keeper. I thought James Obiorah would go far.He did play in the champions league.
