I'm having serious network problem, even my two network still disappointed me.  I have been trying since 6.30am to connect but it has not been possible.  Now, it connected but still went off.  Since I started forex, I recorded the biggest loss in my life few days ago.  A loss that can discourage 85% of Forex traders. One thing to ask, I just need your prayers for successful trading because I'm depositing a sum of money for revenge.  The money if bounced back against me will - let me rest my case here.

@Viee,

You disappeared just like that, thank God you are back - that is if you are really back. Cheesy

@Oby,
I can see that every black person wants Obama but I think voting for him because he is a black man might be encouraged.  If his opponet is better, then let the old man win.

Network is now my greatest problem.

A friend gave me this site to connect with them http://www.mobilitypass.com/ -

@ Lady,

Mobilitypass is in US - do you know much about the network? Though, since it's US, it will be better than the once we have here.  Did I say that just because it's based in US?

Sorry about the loss, but this your network problem, you must do something about it.

So far from what i saw, i don't think his opponent is better despite Obama being a black man.

Today's Saint

St. Monica (322?-387)

The circumstances of St. Monica’s life could have made her a nagging wife, a bitter daughter-in-law and a despairing parent, yet she did not give way to any of these temptations. Although she was a Christian, her parents gave her in marriage to a pagan, Patricius, who lived in her hometown of Tagaste in North Africa. Patricius had some redeeming features, but he had a violent temper and was licentious. Monica also had to bear with a cantankerous mother-in-law who lived in her home. Patricius criticized his wife because of her charity and piety, but always respected her. Monica’s prayers and example finally won her husband and mother-in-law to Christianity. Her husband died in 371, one year after his Baptism.

Monica had at least three children who survived infancy. The oldest, Augustine, is the most famous. At the time of his father’s death, Augustine was 17 and a rhetoric student in Carthage. Monica was distressed to learn that her son had accepted the Manichean heresy and was living an immoral life. For a while, she refused to let him eat or sleep in her house. Then one night she had a vision that assured her Augustine would return to the faith. From that time on she stayed close to her son, praying and fasting for him. In fact, she often stayed much closer than Augustine wanted.

When he was 29, Augustine decided to go to Rome to teach rhetoric. Monica was determined to go along. One night he told his mother that he was going to the dock to say goodbye to a friend. Instead, he set sail for Rome. Monica was heartbroken when she learned of Augustine’s trick, but she still followed him. She arrived in Rome only to find that he had left for Milan. Although travel was difficult, Monica pursued him to Milan.

In Milan Augustine came under the influence of the bishop, St. Ambrose, who also became Monica’s spiritual director. She accepted his advice in everything and had the humility to give up some practices that had become second nature to her (see Quote, below). Monica became a leader of the devout women in Milan as she had been in Tagaste.

She continued her prayers for Augustine during his years of instruction. At Easter, 387, St. Ambrose baptized Augustine and several of his friends. Soon after, his party left for Africa. Although no one else was aware of it, Monica knew her life was near the end. She told Augustine, “Son, nothing in this world now affords me delight. I do not know what there is now left for me to do or why I am still here, all my hopes in this world being now fulfilled.” She became ill shortly after and suffered severely for nine days before her death.

Almost all we know about St. Monica is in the writings of St. Augustine, especially his Confessions.

Quote

When Monica moved from North Africa to Milan, she found religious practices new to her and also that some of her former customs, such as a Saturday fast, were not common there. She asked St. Ambrose which customs she should follow. His classic reply was: “When I am here, I do not fast on Saturday, but I fast when I am in Rome; do the same and always follow the custom and discipline of the Church as it is observed in the particular locality in which you find yourself.”

She is my Patron Saint.
I loved her Piety and chose her, and she was African, too. LOL.

Hello Everyone!

Viee na you bi this? Just like Lindiwe said make sure you come online often because we miss your presence here.

Carlos carry go, you are doing great.

Lady if i will vote, i will vote for Obama because i see him as someone who likes peace and i'm sure he is going to do something about Iraq, but talking about the pro-abortion issue, i thought Obama is a Christain.  Why is he in support of  abortion?

Not only that abortion rates will decrease when he is president. The women don't exactly have abortions because they want to, it's mainly because they can't afford to have a baby.

Yup, he's a Christian. There are a lot of christians that are pro-abortion, even catholics. Basically, they view it as this: they don't like abortion, but they also realise that the country is not full of only christians or religious people. they also don't see why they should force their religion on others or tell a woman when she can and cannot have a baby.
i say the best way to attack abortion is to reduce the poverty level, and change the mindset of these women. getting them to see how valuable a child's life is and surrendering to God all their worries is the best way to change abortion.
bannin abortion will do nothing but endanger the lives of both mother and child and in some instances the life of a doctor (women can be very desperate).
also a doctor is not needed to have an abortion, there are also natural ways of having abortion. if they ban abortion they will also have to ban birth controls because most brith controls are abortive, only deceiving the woman that she's just having a regular menstrual period instead of an abortion.
abortion will then become black market.
to me it will only create more problems.
they also have not outlined how this law will be enforced, they're saying that the doctor who performs it will be arrested, but as i said, abortion can take place without a doctor. so the question becomes will they arrest pregnant women? that's is clearly going to be against women's rights. another question is how will they know she's pregnant, most women don't start showing for a while and even some who are pregnant carry very small (my cousin looks like she isn't pregnant and she is 6 months into it already).
This is a law that cannot be enforced, all it would do is give people or evangelicals a better night's sleep. But they don't see it that way. so hey.

Memorial of Saint Augustine, bishop and doctor of the Church

Reading 1
1 Cor 1:1-9

Paul, called to be an Apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God,
and Sosthenes our brother,
to the Church of God that is in Corinth,
to you who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be holy,
with all those everywhere who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father
and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I give thanks to my God always on your account
for the grace of God bestowed on you in Christ Jesus,
that in him you were enriched in every way,
with all discourse and all knowledge,
as the testimony to Christ was confirmed among you,
so that you are not lacking in any spiritual gift
as you wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.
He will keep you firm to the end,
irreproachable on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
God is faithful,
and by him you were called to fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Responsorial Psalm
Ps 145:2-3, 4-5, 6-7

R. (1) I will praise your name for ever, Lord.
Every day will I bless you,
and I will praise your name forever and ever.
Great is the LORD and highly to be praised;
his greatness is unsearchable.
R. I will praise your name for ever, Lord.
Generation after generation praises your works
and proclaims your might.
They speak of the splendor of your glorious majesty
and tell of your wondrous works.
R. I will praise your name for ever, Lord.
They discourse of the power of your terrible deeds
and declare your greatness.
They publish the fame of your abundant goodness
and joyfully sing of your justice.
R. I will praise your name for ever, Lord.

Gospel
Mt 24:42-51

Jesus said to his disciples:
“Stay awake!
For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.
Be sure of this:
if the master of the house
had known the hour of night when the thief was coming,
he would have stayed awake
and not let his house be broken into.
So too, you also must be prepared,
for at an hour you do not expect, the Son of Man will come.

“Who, then, is the faithful and prudent servant,
whom the master has put in charge of his household
to distribute to them their food at the proper time?
Blessed is that servant whom his master on his arrival finds doing so.
Amen, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property.
But if that wicked servant says to himself, ‘My master is long delayed,’
and begins to beat his fellow servants,
and eat and drink with drunkards,
the servant’s master will come on an unexpected day
and at an unknown hour and will punish him severely
and assign him a place with the hypocrites,
where there will be wailing and grinding of teeth.”

I see you've done some home work on pro-life and pro-abortion. wish many more would understand it like you do.

i am not exactly sure the abortion rate will drop with obama as president because there are also more factors to consider though i do agree that poverty plays a major role.

give or take though i think obama may be better especially if mccain is changing views as you said. that kind of person does not deserve to run a country and we have a lot of them in Nigeria (see where it has got us!).

Today's Saint
St. Augustine (354-430)

A Christian at 33, a priest at 36, a bishop at 41: many people are familiar with the biographical sketch of Augustine of Hippo, sinner turned saint. But really to get to know the man is a rewarding experience.

There quickly surfaces the intensity with which he lived his life, whether his path led away from or toward God. The tears of his mother, the instructions of Ambrose and, most of all, God himself speaking to him in the Scriptures redirected Augustine’s love of life to a life of love.

Having been so deeply immersed in creature-pride of life in his early days and having drunk deeply of its bitter dregs, it is not surprising that Augustine should have turned, with a holy fierceness, against the many demon-thrusts rampant in his day. His times were truly decadent—politically, socially, morally. He was both feared and loved, like the Master. The perennial criticism leveled against him: a fundamental rigorism.

In his day, he providentially fulfilled the office of prophet. Like Jeremiah and other greats, he was hard-pressed but could not keep quiet. “I say to myself, I will not mention him,/I will speak in his name no more./But then it becomes like fire burning in my heart,/imprisoned in my bones;/I grow weary holding it in,/I cannot endure it” (Jeremiah 20:9).

Quote

“Too late have I loved you, O Beauty of ancient days, yet ever new! Too late I loved you! And behold, you were within, and I abroad, and there I searched for you; I was deformed, plunging amid those fair forms, which you had made. You were with me, but I was not with you. Things held me far from you—things which, if they were not in you, were not at all. You called, and shouted, and burst my deafness. You flashed and shone, and scattered my blindness. You breathed odors and I drew in breath—and I pant for you. I tasted, and I hunger and thirst. You touched me, and I burned for your peace” (St. Augustine, Confessions).

morning peeps!
this is a food for thought for us this morning. . .

"Yahweh, your eye are too pure to tolerate wickedness and you cannot look on oppression.  Why then do you look on treacherous people and watch in silence while the evildoer swallows up one better. Habakkuk 1:13

Then Yahweh answered me and said, "Write down the vision, inscribe it on tables so it can be easily read, since this is a vision for an appointed time; it will not fail but will be fulfilled in due time.  If it delays, wait for it, for it will come and will not be deferred.  Look: I don't look with favor on the one who give way; the upright, on the other hand, will live by his faithfulness" - Habakkuk 2:2-4

- The divine answer remains mysterious.  Later, God will clearly reveal how he rewards the just beyond this life.  Today God asks us not to despair, everthg has an appointed time, do not relent on your prayers, persevere and you will see that on the appointed time, he will fulfill all his promises."

Memorial of the Martyrdom of Saint John the Baptist

Reading 1
1 Cor 1:17-25

Brothers and sisters:
Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the Gospel,
and not with the wisdom of human eloquence,
so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of its meaning.

The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing,
but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For it is written:

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the learning of the learned I will set aside.

Where is the wise one?
Where is the scribe?
Where is the debater of this age?
Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish?
For since in the wisdom of God
the world did not come to know God through wisdom,
it was the will of God through the foolishness of the proclamation
to save those who have faith.
For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
but we proclaim Christ crucified,
a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike,
Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.
For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom,
and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.

Responsorial Psalm
Ps 33:1-2, 4-5, 10-11

R. (5) The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
Exult, you just, in the LORD;
praise from the upright is fitting.
Give thanks to the LORD on the harp;
with the tenstringed lyre chant his praises.
R. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
For upright is the word of the LORD,
and all his works are trustworthy.
He loves justice and right;
of the kindness of the LORD the earth is full.
R. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.
The LORD brings to nought the plans of nations;
he foils the designs of peoples.
But the plan of the LORD stands forever;
the design of his heart, through all generations.
R. The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord.

Gospel
Mk 6:17-29

Herod was the one who had John the Baptist arrested and bound in prison
on account of Herodias,
the wife of his brother Philip, whom he had married.
John had said to Herod,
“It is not lawful for you to have your brother’s wife.”
Herodias harbored a grudge against him
and wanted to kill him but was unable to do so.
Herod feared John, knowing him to be a righteous and holy man,
and kept him in custody.
When he heard him speak he was very much perplexed,
yet he liked to listen to him.
She had an opportunity one day when Herod, on his birthday,
gave a banquet for his courtiers,
his military officers, and the leading men of Galilee.
Herodias’ own daughter came in
and performed a dance that delighted Herod and his guests.
The king said to the girl,
“Ask of me whatever you wish and I will grant it to you.”
He even swore many things to her,
“I will grant you whatever you ask of me,
even to half of my kingdom.”
She went out and said to her mother,
“What shall I ask for?”
She replied, “The head of John the Baptist.”
The girl hurried back to the king’s presence and made her request,
“I want you to give me at once
on a platter the head of John the Baptist.”
The king was deeply distressed,
but because of his oaths and the guests
he did not wish to break his word to her.
So he promptly dispatched an executioner with orders
to bring back his head.
He went off and beheaded him in the prison.
He brought in the head on a platter and gave it to the girl.
The girl in turn gave it to her mother.
When his disciples heard about it,
they came and took his body and laid it in a tomb.

Today's Saint

Beheading of John the Baptist

The drunken oath of a king with a shallow sense of honor, a seductive dance and the hateful heart of a queen combined to bring about the martyrdom of John the Baptist. The greatest of prophets suffered the fate of so many Old Testament prophets before him: rejection and martyrdom. The “voice crying in the desert” did not hesitate to accuse the guilty, did not hesitate to speak the truth. But why? What possesses a man that he would give up his very life?

This great religious reformer was sent by God to prepare the people for the Messiah. His vocation was one of selfless giving. The only power that he claimed was the Spirit of Yahweh. “I am baptizing you with water, for repentance, but the one who is coming after me is mightier than I. I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire” (Matthew 3:11). Scripture tells us that many people followed John looking to him for hope, perhaps in anticipation of some great messianic power. John never allowed himself the false honor of receiving these people for his own glory. He knew his calling was one of preparation. When the time came, he led his disciples to Jesus: “The next day John was there again with two of his disciples, and as he watched Jesus walk by, he said, ‘Behold, the Lamb of God.’ The two disciples heard what he said and followed Jesus” (John 1:35-37). It is John the Baptist who has pointed the way to Christ. John’s life and death were a giving over of self for God and other people. His simple style of life was one of complete detachment from earthly possessions. His heart was centered on God and the call that he heard from the Spirit of God speaking to his heart. Confident of God’s grace, he had the courage to speak words of condemnation or repentance, of salvation.

“So they came to John and said to him, ‘Rabbi, the one who was with you across the Jordan, to whom you testified, here he is baptizing and everyone is coming to him.’ John answered and said, ‘No one can receive anything except what has been given him from heaven. You yourselves can testify that I said [that] I am not the Messiah, but that I was sent before him. The one who has the bride is the bridegroom; the best man, who stands and listens for him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom’s voice. So this joy of mine has been made complete. He must increase; I must decrease’” (John 3:26–30).

Gospel

MEDITATION OF THE DAY

Speaking the truth can be costly.  One can lose one's reputation, one's livelihood and even one's life.  Human history is replete with examples of men and women who refused to buckle in the face of evil or corruption.  So often the price they paid was the ultimate one - the loss of their lives.  St. John the Baptist was no exception to this rule.  His prophetic instinct gave him remarkable courage, even to confronting a corrupt king.  Unconcerned for his own safety, he rebuked Herod for his adultery with his brother's wife, Herodias.  Adultery then or in any age is personally and socially destrutive.  It is a cancer undermining and destroying marriage.  It leaves broken hearts, shattered families and unspeakable pain in its wake.  A moment of lust or the excitement of a clandestine affair may become addictive, and the self-deception that at last one has found true love may be the twisted thinking of those who justify such liaisons.  The power of truth is its ability to drive home reality.  The reality of truth is that once proclaimed it is either embraced or despised.  Herodias despised the message and the messenger - she was keen to silence John.  She is a good example of hte dangers of holding on to resentment.  She nursed a burning animosity towards the Baptist.  Resentment is a deadly poison.  It is the antithesis of love and forgiveness.  It is by its very nature destructive.  It saps us of energy and love.  Perversely, resentment has a kind of malign creativity, often manifesting remarkable ingenuity in expressing its spite and venom.  Herodias got her wish - John was brutally put to death.  He lost his head for justice and fidelity.  He gave his life for truth.  The Italian Franciscan Jacopone da Todi commented that: 'Were John the Baptist to return and denounce the sin of the world, once more they'D cut off his head.' On this his feast day we can pray for the spirit of honesty and courage that governed his life.  "O Lord, unlike your servant John I am so timid.  I hate to take a stand.  Yet I know that so often what is wrong and evil is accepted as normal and healthy.  Holy Spirit, grant me the wisdom to know when to speak out for love, truth and justice."

Lol.

Monica ~lady~, what's the update on the hurricane and tornado?

It's still out in the ocean.
they're still monitoring it. It looks like it will hit New Orleans and it is just as dangerous as Katrina, it has killed 59 people in Haiti.

good morning. hope you are feeling ontop of your world like me!

stay blessed this week.

Monday of the Twenty-second Week in Ordinary Time

Reading 1
1 Cor 2:1-5

When I came to you, brothers and sisters,
proclaiming the mystery of God,
I did not come with sublimity of words or of wisdom.
For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you
except Jesus Christ, and him crucified.
I came to you in weakness and fear and much trembling,
and my message and my proclamation
were not with persuasive words of wisdom,
but with a demonstration of spirit and power,
so that your faith might rest not on human wisdom
but on the power of God.

Responsorial Psalm
Ps 119:97, 98, 99, 100, 101, 102

R. (97) Lord, I love your commands.
How I love your law, O LORD!
It is my meditation all the day.
R. Lord, I love your commands.
Your command has made me wiser than my enemies,
for it is ever with me.
R. Lord, I love your commands.
I have more understanding than all my teachers
when your decrees are my meditation.
R. Lord, I love your commands.
I have more discernment than the elders,
because I observe your precepts.
R. Lord, I love your commands.
From every evil way I withhold my feet,
that I may keep your words.
R. Lord, I love your commands.
From your ordinances I turn not away,
for you have instructed me.
R. Lord, I love your commands.

Gospel
Lk 4:16-30

Jesus came to Nazareth, where he had grown up,
and went according to his custom
into the synagogue on the sabbath day.
He stood up to read and was handed a scroll of the prophet Isaiah.
He unrolled the scroll and found the passage where it was written:

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because he has anointed me
to bring glad tidings to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to captives
and recovery of sight to the blind,
to let the oppressed go free,
and to proclaim a year acceptable to the Lord.

Rolling up the scroll,
he handed it back to the attendant and sat down,
and the eyes of all in the synagogue looked intently at him.
He said to them,
“Today this Scripture passage is fulfilled in your hearing.”
And all spoke highly of him
and were amazed at the gracious words that came from his mouth.
They also asked, “Is this not the son of Joseph?”
He said to them, “Surely you will quote me this proverb,
‘Physician, cure yourself,’ and say, ‘Do here in your native place
the things that we heard were done in Capernaum.’”
And he said,
“Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place.
Indeed, I tell you,
there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah
when the sky was closed for three and a half years
and a severe famine spread over the entire land.
It was to none of these that Elijah was sent,
but only to a widow in Zarephath in the land of Sidon.
Again, there were many lepers in Israel
during the time of Elisha the prophet;
yet not one of them was cleansed, but only Naaman the Syrian.”
When the people in the synagogue heard this,
they were all filled with fury.
They rose up, drove him out of the town,
and led him to the brow of the hill
on which their town had been built, to hurl him down headlong.
But he passed through the midst of them and went away.

Today's Saint

St. Giles (d. 710?)

Despite the fact that much about St. Giles is shrouded in mystery, we can say that he was one of the most popular saints in the Middle Ages. Likely, he was born in the first half of the 7th century in southeastern France. That is where he built a monastery that became a popular stopping-off point for pilgrims making their way to Compostela in Spain and the Holy Land.

In England, many ancient churches and hospitals were dedicated to Giles. One of the sections of the city of Brussels is named after him. In Germany, Giles was included among the so-called 14 Holy Helpers, a popular group of saints to whom people prayed, especially for recovery from disease and for strength at the hour of death. Also among the 14 were Sts. Christopher, Barbara and Blase. Interestingly, Giles was the only non-martyr among them. Devotion to the "Holy Helpers" was especially strong in parts of Germany and in Hungary and Sweden. Such devotion made his popularity spread. Giles was soon invoked as the patron of the poor and the disabled.

The pilgrimage center that once drew so many fell into disrepair some centuries after Giles' death.

hey peeps. . .
it's a new month and y'all deserve to feel on top the world! no bi small thing ooo!

one of the things that trip me and get me going in the month of Sept is that we get to celebrate our Lady's birthday Cheesy Wink Cheesy Wink Kiss
legionaries organise their praesidium function on Her birthday or within that period.

The best birthday gifts that we can give her on this day (Sept 8th) is to attend Mass and pray the Holy Rosary on that in her honour. going to Confession on that day will not be a bad idea. Mother Mary certainly will not fail to show appreciation for such kind gestures from her children by obtaining for us our Mass and Rosary intentions. She is not called Mediatrix of All Graces in vain!

Consider doing a Novena in honour of the birthday of the most generous of God’s creatures. If we celebrate our birthdays with our friends and relations, should we doubt if the most generous Mother will celebrate her birthday with AND for her beloved ones?

May the “birthday Mother” continue to pray for you and with you in all your necessities. AMEN

Happy birthday Mother, in advance!!!

guys, this is quite thought provoking. . . need y'all to ponder on it as you read through
cheers!

Of the Few Who Love the Cross of Jesus

Jesus has now many lovers of his heavenly kingdom, but few who bear his cross. He has many who desire consolation, but few who desire tribulation. He finds many companions at the table, but few in abstinence. all desire to rejoice with Him but few are willing to suffer something for Him and with Him Cry Cry

Many follow Jesus to the breaking of bread, but few follow Him to the drinking of the chalice of His passion. many venerate His miracles, but few follow Him in the ignominy of the cross. many love Jesus as long as they do not meet with any adversity. many praise Him and bless Him as long as they receive consolation from Him. but if Jesus hide himself and abandon them for a little while, they either complain or fall into excessive discouragement.

but they who love Jesus for Jesus’ sake and not for any consolation of their own, bless Him in every tribulation and anguish of heart as in the greatest consolation. and even if He should never give them His consolation, they would nevertheless always praise Him and always want to thank Him.

oh how powerful is the love of Jesus when it is pure and not mixed with any self-interest or other love! are they not to be called mercenaries who are always seeking consolation? do they not show that they are rather lovers of themselves than of Christ, those who are always thinking of their own comfort and gain? where shall we find a man who is willing to serve God gratuitously  Huh Huh

rarely do we find a man who is so spiritual, that he is devoid of all things. for who shall find the man who is truly poor in spirit and detached from all affection to created things? “far and from the uttermost costs is his price” (Pr 31:10)  Undecided Undecided

if a man were to distribute his whole substance, it would still be nothing. and even if he were to do great penance, it would still be a little thing. and if he were to learn all knowledge, he would still be far away. and if he had great virtue and a very fervent devotion, there would still be much lacking in him, that is, the one thing which is supremely necessary for him. and what is it? that, after having left all things, he also leave himself, and fully go out of himself and retain nothing of self-love. and when he shall have done all that which he thought should be done, let him believe that he has done nothing  Shocked Shocked

let him not give much weight to that which may be considered great; but let him in truth confess himself to be a useless servant; as Truth himself has said: “when you have done everything that was commanded you, say: ‘we are unprofitable servants” (Lk 17:10). then may he be truly poor and naked in spirit and may say with the prophet: “I am alone and in distress” (Ps 24:16). however, no one will be richer, no one more powerful, no one more free, than this man who knows how to abandon himself and all things and put himself in the lowest place  Wink Wink Wink

Hi, we had very few drops of rain. We only experienced the bands. The eye is in New Orleans right now. It was supposed to be worse than Katrina but it has died down to a Category 2 hurricane.

Please keep the people of Louisians, Texas, Mississipi and Alabama in your prayers.

Lindiwe, thanks for those. I loved them both.

Just to say good job from you guys - keep the thread going.  This thread reminds me of one thing, other threads in this (religion) section came and didn't last long, but this thread came and has been on till date and people post here everyday.  It has a powerful meanning.  It shows that Catholism will always live, it's founded by the Rock Himself and will remain strong.

I'm again in Lagos.  I came 4 something, moved around V/I throughout today, but I will be going back on Thursday.

@Lady,

As Carlosein said Nigeria is a blessed country, no natural disaster.  We only experience human disaster.  Looting and other evil caused by human beings.  Nigerians suffer as a result of it.  I pray for the souls of those that died.
