which is more important to you? The "church's teachings" or the "Lord's teachings"?
p-l-e-a-s-e! there's not even an atom of difference between the two ok! Where is THE USE of the rosary commended in the bible?
sorry dear, incase you're not aware, the church teaches also from her sacred traditions! and if you don't have an understanding of these traditions, then don't come here to open your mouth anyhow, ok! thanks!

Of course. The rosary is unbiblical, Mariolatry is unbiblical, praying to Mary as an intercessor is unbiblical, Mary apparitions are clearly satanic . . . its up to you to OPEN YOUR BIBLE and show me otherwise.
well, we've heard that before! thanks but no thanks!

to a more serious and better talk . . . i'll like us to reflect on this , Of Purity of Mind and of Simplicity of Intentiontwo wings lift man above earthly things: simplicity and purity. simplicity must be in the intention, purity in the affection. simplicity intends God, purity comprehends Him and tastes Him no good action will hinder you if interiorly you are free from every inordinate affection. if you desire and seek nothing but the will of God and the good of your neighbour, you will enjoy interior freedom. if your heart were right, then every creature would be for you a mirror of life and a book of holy teachings. there is no creature so little and so worthless which does not represent the goodness of God if you were good and pure interiorly, you would see and understand all things without any impediment. a pure heart penetrates Heaven and hell accordingly, as one thinks interiorly, so he judges exteriorly. if there’s joy in the world, most certainly the man whose heart is pure possesses it. and if there is tribulation and anguish anywhere, an evil conscience will feel it the most. as iron put into fire loses the rust and becomes incandescent, so a man who converts himself interiorly to God, puts off his lukewarmness and is changed into a new man. when a man begins to grow tepid, he fears every little fatigue and willingly receives external consolations. but when he begins perfectly to win himself, and walk manfully in the way of God, then he accounts as nothing those things, which first he considered burdensome.

of course they'D challenge anything just to conceal their inadequacies.
Yup. LOL indeed!
here is a link to a preview of the book Thanks I will look it up. I am so happy today. I have a testimony and I'm not sure I can share it here, you know we have invaders. But the Lord is truly great, and I love him all the more everyday. hey lady, i feel you quite alright on that matter! the thing is, i don't even know where to begin in trying to challenge these people who go about twisting the church's teachings . . . they have simply chosen to be blind to the truth so i would rather not even try to challenge or convince them . . . i mean! what's the point!
You got it. How r You? which is more important to you? The "church's teachings" or the "Lord's teachings"?
What is the difference between both of them? The Church is the body of Christ, Christ is the Lord so it's the same thing. It is he only Church founded by Christ. Abi is that what's paining you? That you can't compete with the body of Christ? News for you, no one can. Of course. The rosary is unbiblical, Mariolatry is unbiblical, praying to Mary as an intercessor is unbiblical, Mary apparitions are clearly satanic . . . its up to you to OPEN YOUR BIBLE and show me otherwise. Open your Bible and show me that you should only go by your Bible. In case you missed it, the Bible is sacred tradition in itself. So you got a problem with the Bible now? People that deny the sacred tradition also deny the Bible and they don't even know it, they seem to lack the comprehension of the mysteries of Christ. Look we have dealt with you and your kind, we would like to fellowship in peace, now please leave. Lin thanks for that it was really beautiful. I no understand wetin you come talk again o, abeg translate.

uuuhhhhhh! pray you to share your testimony lady! we could just pretend that 'em invaders don't exist! Lol, ok. But it's not all good, I am sad at a part, something bad happened for something good to come. Well my parents got divorced when I was 10 months old, daddy was a rolling stone and step mum consulted diabolical powers to keep my dad. Dad kicked myself and mum out with nothing, not even our clothes. Years later I got reuinted with dad and family, but step mum did not want me there. So she treated me horribly, I would never wish it on a child or an adult, no one. Well I finally ran away back to my mum, and the next year we left for the U.S. years later, my lil bro from dad's sad got in touch with me, and I didn't really want to have anything to do with him because I was angry at his mother for what she did to me, so I lashed out at him and told him I am not in his family. He kept my number though. Well I also didn't realise that my step mum had forced my dad to drive away my older step sister, also from another woman, daddy was really a rolling stone. lol. She refused to let my dad educate her or take care of her, she had to beg for all she got, finally some famiy members decide to help her get through school. Step mum cut dad off from all family members, ran dad's business into the ground. Dad almost died and she did nothing. Well this month I got a call from my older sister and she informed me that step mum is dead. She pleaded on behalf of all family members for me to forgive. I spoke to my dad for the first time in 12 years. I spoke to my baby sister for the first time in 12 years. I spoke to my uncles, aunts, and cousins for the first time. It was weird because they were all apologising and trying to get in touch with my mum to apologise to her, and whenever I asked about what happened to my step mum, they would change the subject. They didn't want to discuss her death with me. They just ask me to forgive. So I have been praying for her soul, and asking God to have mercy on her because I have forgiven her, and I pray that he does. So I inform my mum and gave her my uncles' number. So she calls them adn they apologise to her for the way they treated her (I was sick with measles and they refused to let her take me to the hospital because they needed the money for food). My aunt broke the silence saying that my step mum has been evil and that she's better off dead (God have mercy on my aunt), she was telling us of all the evil things my step mum did. She finally told my mum of how she died. She was ill for 3 years from whatever it is she did 23 years ago to get my dad. My mum refuses to tell me the horrid details. But it was really really horrible. Well it is unfortunate that she died, and I was hoping the family would reuinte with her still a part of it, I was loking forward to reuniting with them in Nigeria, but we're finally united now. I have the other half of my family now, and I think my sis will be coming for my graduation this december YAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please pray for the repose of my step mum. I HAVE MY FAMILY BACK!!!!!!!!!!

Quite touching. God always give us long time to examine our ways and change. I think God gave your step mum all those long years for her to retrace her step, but she did not use it well. I thank God for breaking that yoke in your family and may he grant her pardon of all her sin because he his a merciful God and his ways is not the way of Man, he his merciful even to death.

Today's Saint Sts. Cosmas and Damian (d. 303?) Nothing is known of their lives except that they suffered martyrdom in Syria during the persecution of Diocletian.
A church erected on the site of their burial place was enlarged by the emperor Justinian. Devotion to the two saints spread rapidly in both East and West. A famous basilica was erected in their honor in Constantinople. Their names were placed in the canon of the Mass, probably in the sixth century.
Legend says that they were twin brothers born in Arabia, who became skilled doctors. They were among those who are venerated in the East as the "moneyless ones" because they did not charge a fee for their services. It was impossible that such prominent persons would escape unnoticed in time of persecution: They were arrested and beheaded.
Quote
"Do you not know that your body is a temple of the holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? For you have been purchased at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body" (1 Corinthians 6:19-20).

The Rosary Prayer
The Rosary Prayer: This prayer simply put; is reciting what the Angel of thy MOST HIGH GOD said to our Blessed Mummy, Mother and a beloved Sister.
This act is another way of honouring God's Word and also Showing that the birth of our LORD JESUS CHRIST is Immaculate.
Holy Rosary: Holy Mother, Hail Mary full of Grace.
God can never dwell in an unholy place, Hence Mother(Mummy) is Holy.
If we hounour and shout praise for the Mummy(wives of Pastors, Rev. etc) then we should not forget the origin of Motherhood (Mother Mary, the Vrigin mary, the one through which Christ was born (divine birth). We should also follow her foot steps (for women)
In my own point of view and understanding, rosary is a means of honouring Mother Mary but never worshipping, and most people direct their prayers through her to Intercede for them through our LORD JESUS CHRIST
Their Believe: They Believe that through Mother Mary, as a mother is so dear to the Son; that they will obtain a quick answer for their prayer:
" please do not crucify them"

She Didn't Experience Corruption
Who, may I ask, could ever believe that the Holy Ark, the dwelling place of the Verb, the Temple of the Holy Spirit, would have crumbled away? My mind rebels against the very thought that that virgin flesh who conceived God, gave birth to him, nourished him, carried him, would have been reduced to dust or left to feed the worms.

Yes, i was once a catholic. A very good one; not sunday sunday catholic. while in Catholic church, I was a member of Legion of Mary and their secretary in that particular parish. "St. John's Catholic Church" Ogwuogor- Abakpa nike Enugu. Our primary assignment are: Visit the sick, help the poor, help the old people, help couples that are childless, etc. This help mostly is not material help (giving money and others). but prayers for the sick, washing of clothes, gathering some certain things as may be required by the elderly people (old people) and many more, The unit "Legion of Mary" has no limit of work function.

LOL . . . i was simply saying 'Lord hear our prayer . . .' Oh ok, got it now. " please do not crucify them" Thanks ma'am but they can't, we've been nailed to the cross once and for all, it can't be undone and they can't do it again. They can shout "they're devil worshippers" all they want, the Church will always stand. It stands for 2000 years so far and it will be here till the end. Se Martin Luther tried, wetin happen? Nothing the Church is still here John Calvin tried, wetin happen? Nothing the Church is still here The gnostics, arians, and all tried, wetin happen? Nothing the Church is still here Some people need to catch on quickly o. The gates of hell shall not prevail against it, we shall always persevere. I just feel sorry for those who leave, they give up all the graces for what? The give up the Eucharist, for what? They take themselves from the full truth to the half truth, if you ask me they're short-changing themselves. As for me, I will stay receiving the Eucharist, the true body and blood of Christ. A representation just won't do, I musttttoo have the REAL DEAL!!!! I don't settle for less. She Didn't Experience Corruption

St. Robert Bellarmine needs to know about some people on nairaland who say God can dwell in a sinful person o. Fornication is the in thing now in the society, if you are a grown girl and you don't have a boyfriend to commit immorality with then you don't belong and this is one of the strategy the evil one is using now to lead so many people astray. May God deliver us all from evil and to always be conscious that our body is the dwelling place of God. Amen
Amen. A friend of mine looked at me the other day and said, women are precious, it took a woman to bring the savior to the world. He said the Lord truly put an enmity between the woman and the devil, because the devil is always atacking women and defiling their wombs. God dwelt in the womb of a woman, making it holy, so the devil is always trying to make women feel worthless, ugly, and stupid. Make them feel that they need to be immoral in order for them to be worth anything. No wonder women are the ones always with the biggest issues. Father issues, mother issues, men issues, societal issues. Women need to value themselves more, if only they knew they were priceless, if only they knew the devil knows their worth, they will make him work hard, and they will continue to stop him in his tracks. If only they knew how pricelss they are. I thank God for his blessings. We as God's children need to make sure that we educate people, and we need to guard our values before our society is served to the devil on a silver platter. Yes, i was once a catholic. Wow, you were a legion of Mary. I love them, I've always wanted to be active with them, unfortunately the most I can do right now is be a partial member in prayer. But why would you leave? you are most welcome. it must have taken you a lot of courage to post your story up there, i really commend you for it. i probably wouldn't have been able to do same.
