Actually I don't think so.

Yes the guy has to have money but not for me. I don't need his money. He needs the money to polish his ego so he does not feel less of a man because i earn way more than him.

Money is not everything. ( I am probably talking like this because I am very comfortable) But besides that; I don't need his money to feel fulfilled in a relationship!

its all the same thing

if a guy dosnt hav money, how will he polish himself

thats my main point

Even if i don't need his money

he should be willing to spend it on me! Wink Grin

geevader

People, this issue of romance and money has been on my mind a whole lot lately

See this is my dilemma

I am the next in line to the throne of the Awuajale of Ijebuland

Accompanying my title are assets worth over ten million dollars.

Now I need to find a woman who will marry me for who I am not what I have.

I have this plan:

I will travel to America to find my bride

I will live in the most decrepit conditions, prolly work at Mcdonalds.

My only luxury will be my able servant Semiu.

If a girl still finds me attractive then, I shall make her my queen.

What do you lot think?

How many of you men will marry an ugly, fat, old woman?  None?  Well, it's the same principle.
You are looking for something (youth, fertility) and the woman is also looking for something (security).
There must be an intersection of demand and supply for the transaction of romance to be successful. Wink

finance + Romace  = Happiness to the power of 10

Romance - Finance = partial fulfilment

No Finance + No Romance  = FRUSTRATION

Well I think it is contextual.

I think people are willing to give it a go regardless of money
up to the age of say 23-24 before the women folk start getting
career minded and the like

For most of University I was as broke as the Nigerian Economy
but I had quite a few fruitful relationships. Most of the ladies had stars in their
eyes, wanted to see the world, and save the environment.

Well they have since donned their suits and set conditions on their relationships.
They now find my antics childish and lacking in ambition, the same antics that had them giggling and cooing
in my ears a few years back.

well I am now looking for a female who wants to see the world and save the planet

i will never think of getting married in my life. If money will be the main reason a lady is with in the first place though it the KOKO behind every necessary things that one needs but to use that as a yardstick forget u in 4 so many trouble.

Re: No Finance, No Romance!

It will be very difficult for a made man to meet a lady and expect that she is in love with him. He will always have it at the back of his mind that she is in it for the money and that is a concrete reason why a lot of guys that are already successful before they met their wives most times cheat. As long as the money is there she will stay and when it runs out she will go. They also get treated badly. So ladies if u see a potential success in the making stick with him. More guys appreciate a lady that has been with them through thick and thin than one who shows up when its all Rosy. Trust me God gave ladies the sense of smell to locate a potential guy that will be successful, doesnt work all the time but it does most times.  Wink Wink Wink
