owning up to ones responsibilities (often, financial responsibilities for a man) make a marriage last and not 'love' literally.

So we can say, FINANCE might really be a necessary ingredient for ROMANCE.

What if there is finance and there isn’t love?

Or there is true love and there isn’t finance. So romance won’t be capable of working in that condition right?

People be real, true love alone cannot sustain a relationship
so many things are involved

and if the guy truly loves he will do anything legally possible
to support his family financially!!

So Money is Terribly important, both the woman and the man alike

But the man is the Original Breadwinner o.

You guys just have to realize that romance comes with its 'overhead' or 'running cost'.

How you go isolate FINANCE from ROMANCE.  Even if your car (ROMANCE) solid, it wouldn't move with out fuel (FINANCE).  Cheesy

@Gamine

I know that but the way money is specifically discussed here, it’s as if without money, you can’t marry.

I know money is essential in relationships, but there is also a possibility that if a girl loves you for your money, she is likely to leave you when you eventually crumble. True love shouldn’t be based on riches. It should be rooted on your emotions and feeling towards your partner.

i don't believe money is everytin too.and do believe love conquers all at least with a guy dt has a focus but tell me ,what do u derive 4r a guy dt can't apprecaite your love, your fidelity and your struggle 2 make him focus   and at d same time cannot finance  u  , such a  relationship  can be very frustrating  for d lady

ooooooo this people!!! ooooooooooooo Undecided

Romance

choose ya pick!

Romantic love" is a general term referring to the connection between "love" and the general idea of "romance", according to more traditional usages of the terms. Historically the term "romance" did not necessarily imply love relationships, but rather was seen as an artistic expression of one's innermost desires; sometimes including love, sometimes not. Romance is still sometimes viewed as an expressionistic, or artful form, but within the context of "romantic love" relationships it usually implies an expression of one's love, or one's deep emotional desires to connect with another person. It is exaggerated or decorated (more exciting than they really are) expression of love[1][2]. "Romance" in this sense can therefore be defined as attachment, fascination, or enthusiasm for something or someone.

Happiness is subjective, what makes one person happy may not make another person happy.
For me sha, money is not = to happiness, yes you need money to meet basic needs but money is just an item not a pre-requisite for happiness or romance.
Women like men have five fingers on each hand and if money is what makes a sister happy, then i will advice her to go make hers cause you get satisfaction when spending money you make.
However what I can't stand is a Lazy Man, I will want an intelligent and smart man, he does not have to be rich.

Seun, God bless you!

Let us see it from another angle, If a woman looses her shape and beauty after marriage people
justify the husband's infidelity, you start to hear things like,'is this what you looked like when I/he married you?'

So tell me why can't the woman also take a walk when the man looses his job?
Why the doulble standard?

Gamine and co, please do not give men the impression that women are pests.
Women have oppurtunities of earning good money when they work hard. Why would any women want to sit back and wait for finance and supply from any man.
If I was a man, Honestly, I would not want to date a woman who will be a huge hole in my pocket.
Haba, wetin do her hand?

kiyosaki's rich dad says

an asset puts money in my pocket

a liability takes money from my pocket

aquire assets and lose liabilities.

a girl that takes and takes money is a liability regardless of the amount of sex she gives in return

a girl that encourages healthy behaviour (ie no more clubbing, wasting money on women / alcohol due to idleness and boredom) by making u have responsibility and focus is an asset because ull save fuel, money and time- and ull be motivated to improve yourself so u can better take care of her

my mission is to lose as many liabilities as i can this year

That means all the big ikebe wielding cash madams have to GOOOOOOOOOOOOO

no finance no romance sounds like a liability speaking  Grin
