Hey Fellas,

419ners and scam artist are meant for the Greedy fellas,Thats their life lesson for greediness because i can't see why someone should reap where she or he did not sow.

As for me i work for my 1 naira and i am proud of it.

Infact any 419 victim must be prosecuted for 4110 and must be sent to jail.

Greediness is Bad.

Cant u read some of the post and realise that some people were trying to be good samaritans.

Why insult them even if u think they were naive?

Suky our eye don see for Something for Lagos, i have been a victim of these guys not once not twice, everyone is out to use a societal defect (e.g Unemployment) to defraud people especially in Lagos.Let me spare everyone the details.i feel Guardian Newspaper should be blamed for all this.all they interested in is the Money they make from these fraudulent adverts, i feel they have a duty to investigate what ever they are publishing before publishing.if they are not careful i will make sure Guardian Newspaper is Blacklisted and in fact closed down.

Wel these guys oper8 on a new level. They've gone beyond mere psyching. They nw use drugs as wel as black magic. A frnd told me he was on his way home one night and felt thirsty. So he decided 2buy 'pure water'(comercialy packaged water in plastic sachets) frm street mobile hawkers. And in another 10mins, after takin d 'purewater', he was completely lost to d world;under som sort of hypnosis. I use d word hypnosis because he was completely unconcious, yet he found his way home al by himself about 48hrs later, lookin tatterd n dirty. He obviously walkd! How he cud evn figure his way home remains a mystery. Or how he didnt get run ovr by a car or somthng. He walkd and talkd like a zombie. He cud relate wit his environs witout being concious of it! Sounds al contradictory bt twas realy crazy! In that state he'D obey WATEVR instruction u giv 2him WITOUT being concious of it! He'D answr questions accurately, bt jst keep mute when u askd anythng about his assailants or sequence of events jst after he bought 'purewater'. Twas like he had a brain block. Or some kind of 'programming'. He cud evn crack jokes and respond 2humor! Bt his walk and talk had a funny drawl to it,in a zombie like manner.I saw it wit my own very eyes. These theives searchd him frm head to toe, took al his money,id cards, ATM cards, fones, etc. Days later he found his bank accounts had been cleared out! I guess in that state of hypnosis they askd for al his ATM pin codes and passwords,  And he gav!
These people wil do anythng, go any length, to get what they want. Realy wierd,

, Yes Suky,

Lets hear Your story.

By the way I got a funny email from someguy claiming he has some project he wants us to carry out. He said he got my email from nairaland. I replied him that he should drop his contacts. He gave me an international No. which I discovered was Gambian.

He's got a Nigerian name (Seun) different from the Nigerian name he used as his yahoo ID.

I'm expecting to hear from him again. I don't want to jump 2 conclusions too fast sha.

But I aint going to fall 4 no nonsense.

Quite Interesting!

Mine is Similar to all i hve read so far!!!
I was going to church on a good sunday morning around V/I extension, Lagos when this guy walked to me and said that there is this sailor that came from,  i cannot remember the name of the country again, that he has some foreign currencies in boxes and that he would like to take me there to see for myself. I willingling followed him there (somewhere going towards lekki). B/4 that, another guy joined and the first guy said the new guy is d sailors bother. Anyway sha, na im i follow them go the place oooooh. Mind u i was supposed to go to church. On getting dere, i was taken to one ramshakle building and lo and behold i saw the boxes in brown wrappers.
I was told that now that i hve seen it, though i did not open to confirm the documents, i was told that we would need to share the amt we would contribute to  so as to buy chemical to wash the items so that we would split the money among ourselves. Anyway sha, my greedy mind was already calculating how i will buy car, buy baffs, etc,  from the proceeds of my share.
I was told that someone would hve to buy the chemical from chevron oil company.
Do u know that i had to put down my sch. fees as my share, and also had to take some money from my mum"s bag just to wash the nonsense and get my share. I was fooled to understand that my share could as much as two thousand dollars. I was already calculating the exchange rates to Naija money.
Anyway, one thing led to another, after dropping all the money i had and still yet nothing was forth coming, i wanted to put up a fight that wetin happen after dropping all this money the guys were still giving me one excuse or the oda for the delay in buying the chemical to wash the foreign currency . The guys put up a strong restraint that i shld try and bring more money so that they can wash the items.
It was at this point that i had to confide to my mum, by the way she was surprised and annoyed that i could fall for such antics.
Anyway, she abuse me die. But i thank God i did not loose my life there.
As a previous poster said, if one is greedy, not contented, one would surely fall for this antics.
