Where did you send it to? Loughborough(UK) or UK high commission

Yes, it's normal, most appeal cases take up to six or seven months. You might be furtunate to have it treated in shorter period, though |

Just last month! UK embassy in Nigeria Not the one in Gambia. They are very busy. Why did you send it to Abuja? If you send it directly to Uk, its likely to take 6 to 9months otherwise it would take longer time. The only advantage you have is the ECO could reverse the refusal. Good luck. |

Usually, they don't send anything (like acknowledgement letter), they don't even correspond with you until the due time, it's the system of the embassy to ignore you until it's time to respond. Appeal is for the patient people |
