Fair enough, sir. I am, indeed, heterosexual I seriously doubt it. But, I'm free to blive what i want. And you are free to portray yourself as you please. However, U seem to be saying you are gay, inbetween the lines. D@ u haven't been with a guy only makes u str8 technically. However, if u desire male flesh, you sure r gay, man.

@indigosky: Indeed, you are free to believe as you wish. To that end, I am free to know the truth about myself. And, I know that I am a straight male.

@indigosky: Thank you for your kind words.
Is this why you thought that I was gay, dasilver22? Because of my views, because of my putative eloquence, or both?

@indigosky: Let me explain myself, if I may.
I am a black male living in the US. As a black male, I have seen what bias, prejudice and intolerance can do to a single person as well as a group of people. My being black does not in any way, shape or form compromise anybody else. But, there are people who feel that I am not entitled to certain things that our society affords everybody. There are those who think that my blackness means I shouldn't live in certain areas, shouldn't be afforded membership into certain organizations, shouldn't be allowed to date and/or marry and/or have children with certain people.
Now, I use my blackness as an example of how some people discriminate. I could have used any other physical attribute, because those are obvious on sight. The point is that such things don't matter. My skin color, my height, my weight, my eye color--all of these--are just parts of the person I am. NONE of them totally defines me. To that end, whether a person is homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual or asexual does not define that person. There's no way such attributes could!
So, to suggest that I am open-minded, enlightened, tolerant, non-homophobic and accommodating is very gracious of you, and I appreciate that you view me in such a positive way. I have no reason to distrust any group of people at all. If an individual is problematic for me, then I address what it is about that individual which is the source of the problem.
We don't have to embrace the ways of others. To live harmoniously, we should, however, respect that there are viewpoints that differ from our own.
To that end, I extend my "cyber" hand of friendship to you--and anybody else--who wishes to accept it. Finally, you suggest that one could use a "str8 friend" as you describe. Hey, friends are friends, no matter what.
