I need it in Lagos by November ending at the latest. I don't know how much it is to ship or clear from where you are but I expect to pay $8k - $10k depending on model for a 2000 pathfinder.

Hey man, don't let anyone tell you he would get year 2002 Nissan pathfinder for $8500, shipping included. Let me tell you the secret. We have some Bad Nigerians across USA that buy cars that are not safe to drive in US ( I mean accident cars). They would buy these cars repair them to the extent that when you see them you will think it is new car. I promise you that you will regret if you fall in that kinfd of hand. A fantastic Nissan Pathfinder year 2000 would cost you around $7300, year 2001 will cost around $7700, and yaer 2002 or 2003 will cost around $8500 to $9000. Those are cars you will buy with rest of mind that all you need to do just buy petrol and put in the car and drive. The shipping from US will cost you around $1600. Clearing in Nigeria is N350,000.
I can get you year 2002 or 2003 Pathfinder including clearing for N2 Millon. That is if you want a car with rest of mind. I just sold a Toyota Highlander year 2004 for N3.4 Million.

Hi:
If you are going to buy a Pathfinder from the US., remember that not all of them there are 4 wheel drive. They did have two wheel drive as far as I know.
Also if you are going to buy one, you want to get a 2001 or later, as that is when they came out with the 3.5 L engine. This is the one that has chain driven cams, so there are no cam belts to be changed, therefore less cost to maintain.
To be considered also, do you want manual shift or automatic? The top model was the LE and it only came with the auto trans. (which is rated at higher towing capacity than the manual)

Thanks for the heads up on sharp pratices of auto dealers whether Nigerian or not. I really appreciate your comments and will take them onboard when dealing. We have similar issues here in the UK and I hope I don't get stung!
