Common now, please leave IBB out of this. He is the worst thing that has happened to Nigeria. If IBB gets the key to Aso rock, I will apply for a Sudanese passport.

Let know whom do you preffer between IBB and Atiku. Me i will rather vote IBB instead of Atiku. The question is who willrule this great nation come 2007?

Let us compare the two people on their advantages and disadvantages if they should rule this nation.
Personally, I can't really analyse the strength of Atiku, considering the fact that he has primariliy played second fiddle,

africanboy good we can not assess the strength of Atiku then what can u say about the strength of the evil genius IBB? if He realy want to work i think things will be better off under him than Atiku

But for those canvassing for Atiku, they must have their reasons,
Any pro-Atiku in the house, coe out and prove to us why we should vote for your man. Same for IBB.
As for me, I think I'D rather stay neutral until the election comes, though a lot of people around seem to like Atiku, but like I said before, we really don't have proof that he has what it takes to lead. From my unprofessional opinion, I think he really rumbled under the pressure of OBJ, though he somehow managed to survive. Providence? Maybe. Luck. Likely.
Lets wiat and see how he fares towards the election,

Between OBJ and IBB, I'll vote for IBB. Oh besides, he's the best candidate so far.

IBB knows what u need and will give it to you. I think if the man has his way back to Aso-Rock He will use his brain postively for the nation. And they the things are now it can only take a man that knows the millitary very well to stop them from caoming back looking at the so much noise about the third term agenda and other issue in the country. To i give that man to IBB now or who else can you guys at nairaland recomended?

In addition to our other afflictions i see that we also suffer from collective amnesia. Babangida is now the solution! Wonder shall never end.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think he has come out to defend hmself against all allegations raised against him.
Is his silence a sign of innocence or an indication of why he was nicknamed "Maradona"?

How many politicans in Naija has come out to defend themselves truthfully? IBB could be a bad guy but to me he remains the outstanding candidate among others. For real I really want to know who you guys think should make a better president? I could be missing out on some other outstanding figures.

demmy not that am saying IBB is the only solution but my point is, among all the evil one we have now on ground i prefer IBB to others. Let the angel come out before start seeing a better solution. do you rememeber this saying that the devil you know is better than an angel you do not know?

@delekan Nigeria is what it is today mainly because of Babangida. He didn't just destroyed the economy along with what was left of the middle class he also slapped us with communal insult by indignantly annuling what was the freest and fairest election in Nigeria and he laid the foundation for the scourging corruption raging the land today. Furthermore he hasn't answered for Dele Giwa's death and what happened to the $12billion '92 Gulf war windfall. There are others more qualified if we look at the right direction.

I think I can see where u are coming from. In fact I can. I believe everyone is entitled to their own opinion and we both have different choice of candidates. Nonetheless I will vote for that baby too but that's the problem, we don't have good people in there therefore our choices are limited. We all know that the candidates are all crooks so u stand by you crook and I'll stand by mine no wahala. As to closing the thread, I find the topic quite interesting and once again it's for our views and opinions. Don't let it get to your bones.

emmeno,The issue of IBB for president should not arise at all. Absolutely, IBB has nothing to offer this country called Nigeria. The only this he wants to achieve now's to break the record set by baba iyabo as the 1st person to have ruled Nigeria twice. I don't think any right thinking nigerian can support IBB in his 2nd evil missionary journey. All what the youths of this country should be asking for is Devine Revolution where all these criminals who disguise themselves as our leaders should be tried and shot dead.
