In nigeria there is discrepancy that is going on about who is the king of fuji. I am not a fuji fans but whenever they play fuji music on radio i do listen to it but later i came across a guy called SAIDI OSUPA since then i ve been listening to his music because u wil learn one or two things from his music like wise another man from ogun state SEFIU. But i was surprised when i learnt that some of the fuji musicians were against OSUPA as king of music,wel everybody has his or her opinion bt a reasonable person should know that SAIDI OSUPA is the mandate.

Who else deserves to be crowned if not Saheed with his philosophical rythm. He entertains, advises and teaches how to live and enjoy life to the fullest. He is down to earth in all ramifications. I don't listen to any music if not Saheed's and I've learnt alot of lessons. Any song devoid of reasoning and moral is not meant to be associated with Fuji. Though people misconstrued him for a heartless man, but he's my heroe any time any day.

No need for King in Fuji music arena, all of them na king Apart from Paso wey say in be Otunba for K1 others are either King, Igwe, Alayeluwa or Oba. So no need for King since entry point is "KING". Seriously, sha in my opinion, KI is best of modern Fuji musicians while Alhaji Agba SAB, is undisputed overall Leader. Have you heard any one of them praising elders and call the name of Baba Alatika before calling Alhaji Agba?!  |

b4 some can be considered the true king in fuji music, u have to posses the original fuji style. u cant be diverting fuji in the name of modern music without doing your primary concern which is to sing song of origin,advice,danceable, and proverbs.
so when choosing your king, u have to choose someone who has the quality.
among them all, it is only saheed osupa who posses all these characters and He was nominated by fuji music originator and finally the was crowned.

this guy is exceptional.
when we talk abt the fuji creativity, then we should not be talking abt anyone other than king saheed.
after him, we can talk abt others.
the reason y is because, he his too original.
and whn we talk abt the best on a paticular style, we should nt be talking abt those who divert from the original style, but rather, we should talk abt the original.
the fact that saheed did no attach any thing to his music keeps him real. not that he cant, but he always said he wants to be real. he wants to promote african origin. and he can only do that by keeping it real.
