Hi everyone,
I'm a previous resident of Lagos. I grew up there and then left when I turned 17. Lagos has been the haven of the best days of my life and for 10 years it has carried my late father within its soil.
It's my ambition to go back and visit someday, maybe after my kids are all grown up.
Anyway, I got so excited stumbling into this site. The recent pics of Lagos posted are awesome and I so wish to see more of it. I miss the unique smell of it, the poeple, the food and the whole atmosphere that makes Lagos a special country.
sorry for babbling,
doonie

Hello Z, Not much is up. I guess I tend to get nostalgic, Hey Seun, I'm 34, I'm syrian, but lived all my life in Lagos. I miss eating ebba and garre. I miss drinking chapman and eating barbequed plantain from the mama by the ikoyi bridge. I miss the Ikoyi club, polo club and syrian club. I miss awolowo road where my house used to be and buying Ghana bread from the Ikoyi bus stop. My house was on the lagoon. when my father passed away I'D sit on the jetti and watch the boats come into the marina. Going to the market in Victoria Island. walking the Takwa bay beach. playing basketball in the rain. so many memories.
