I'm an Arsenal fan so i won't really give my answer because some people will think I'm being biased but on am elimination basis, i'lld remove Mourinho, simply because he has not proven to be a class manager without monetary backing. Fine in Porto he didnt have the kindda money he has now and he won the portugese league but honestly how competitive is the protugese league, the Champions league was a huge achievement but i would be forgiven if i said we knew there was a bit of luck to that run, ask any ManU fan.
Hence my final candidates would be

Arsene Wenger

So Mourinho luckily won the Champions League?How come Wenger hasn't luckily made it pass the Q/F stage more than once in the UCL for Arse-anal?
Was Jose also just lucky to win the EUFA Cup the previous year?Wenger,in his more than 2 decades of management hasn't picked up a single trophy in Europe.
The Prems' best managers are Fergie,Rafa and Jose but Fergie edges it just in terms of number of major honours.Who knows,with time either of them might win more trophies but for now Fergie is the best

they r all good but two factors i have identified ( there could be more)
trophies and man management
SAF is the best obviously ( he has won many trophies ) BUT
Sam Allardyce and Arsene Wenger are tied for Man Management. Steve Coppell is somewhere in that league as well.
Mourinho and Benitez just have good Bosses

If liverpool didnt come from behind in bizare fashion nko.

the 2 minutes Manchester United scored is part of the 90mins. if u decide to score 30seconds to the end of the game, its still the same.
Maurinho is a good coach but he talks too much. Wenger is a tactical coach but hes been unlucky. FERGIE ranks top. Benitez is a wizard in the game.

I'm a UTD fan but i think i have some respect for Wenger. he knows this game too much i don't seem to understand how those tats can be playing beautifully like they did in that carling cup final against Maurinho. I hate Arsenal but wenger will never cease to amaze me. I actually prayed for him to leave so we can see the demise of the gooners but the man wont go.
