of course they have periods but ashric is correct they could use the pill if they have access to it but i fear most would use the old custom of inserting a sponge or a little soft cloth while having sex
and i do not believe women become prostitutes because they are sex mad. i think it is because they feel there are no other routes open to them, they are poorly educated or elsehave such a low opinion of themselves.

On the same note - Here's a recent occurrence: Cycles, like perspiration are natural processes that should not be disrupted "Recently this past week, Nicole Dishuk (age 31, newly grad Student with a doctoral degree about to start her new career as a Doctor, ) was flown into a nearby hospital, (She lives in Penn) because she passed out. So to the women in Nairaland - I ask you to boycott this product & deal with you cycle once a month - so You can live the rest of the months that your life has in store for You. Is there a possible way of pausing one's period, if no, then your question is stupid. No offence.
I'm aware prostitutes use contraceptives, female condoms and other methods for preventing unwanted babies just like most ladies on nairaland. Don't think I've ever heard of ladies 'calling off' their period.

there are so many options open to sex workers to stop the flow e.g. the Pill, the various contraceptive injections which stop the cycle for months at a time etc. its just the same contraception that non-sex workers use also
