Why don't we stop this tribalistic drivel? I'm all for celebrating cultural variations, but what good has tribal criticism brought to any of us?

Please find your self esteem through some other avenue.

I logged in just to reply to this thread,

Reading posts like this really bothers me to see a brother or sister degrade another man of a different tribe. We are all of the BLACK race, and until we learn to grow as a RACE of caring people, we will stay divided and won't ever progress to a place in LIFE where we rightfully belong.  Here in the US, alot of people of different races look OUT for one another, and in some ethnic groups you will find some of the most wealthiest helping others become wealthy as well,

As long as we keep these STUPID ideas and concepts of putting down our own people,  we might as well give up being  an important part of making the people of Nigeria getting ahead to a comfortabe state of living as the rest of the world. I want to make a difference. There are others who want to make a difference.  You need to develop this same mentality for our people, just  as people of other ethnicities,   Its all about having that KNOWLEDGE. They share wisdom and give their people important KEYS to success to those who listen then help the next in their ethnic group ,  and this is what I am sharing with my people. If you don't like it, then step aside for those who want to grow in life,   That is a disgrace to people of colour to read something like what is implied in this post,  All you are doing is making it hard on any Nigerian who tries to travel abroad, with adding to this type of stereotype, as people will look down on the hard working Nigerian man or woman b ecause of WORDS like this. and it pisses me off  ,  real bad.

There is alot of power in our spoken words.  we have got to learn to invest positive energy in keeping one another motivated, and encouraged,  and less running of the mouth, saying things to break someone's spirit, crippling their efforts to move beyond a substandard living,,  and even stirring up unnecessary anger.  we got a long way to go, and as soon as those who really don't give  a dam, wake up and realize we all have important roles to play the world ,  the sooner we will see positive changes all around us.

love & light,

Look who's talking.
A man that can neither read, write or speak whatever he calls his language.
A Nigerian labelled a minority who sees himself as very minor.
