Am not a doctor and i don't think it is an infection but u can ask ur friend if he sees any signs/symptoms.

Am not a doctor; but I think it’s abnormal because semen and urine are two different secretions entirely. So if you passed out semen when you were urinating, I think you should go and see your doctor because something might be wrong somewhere.

There's no way semen would come out of your privates accidentally. Didn't you study biology in school? Semen is produced at the testis and each testis is packed with seminiferous tubules (laid end to end, they would extend more than 20 meters) where spermatogenesis occurs.
But urine is just a waste product from the body, which is being discharged through the privates.
So if an individual passes out sperms alongside urine, then something’s wrong somewhere.
