STEVEN GERRAD- he was the driving force of a lacklustre liverpool team. The most inspirational captain , ultimately won the UCL
RONALDINHO- The life force of Barcelona, without him barca are just another good team
JOHN TERRY- The second most inspirational captain after gerrad and in my opinion ' the best defender in the world. john terry makes peter cech look good. i'm not saying cech is not good o!!!
FRANK LAMPARD- The second best midfielder in the wrld after ronaldinho last season. scorer of timely goals and the heart of chelsea.
THIERRY HENRY- simply the best striker in europe for a second season in a row. he scored 25 goals to level with diego forlan of villareal. but lets not forget he missed almost 8 games at the end of the season and also the FA cup. if he had played them he would have dusted forlan.

U failed to add some other stupid things Henry does on the pitch.
No one will give Henry world footballer because he lacks the spirit of fair play in his football.
He criticises teammates openly,He is tempermental and sometimes unruly to match officials.
What would u call the kind of free-kick he scored against Chelsea at highbury in Dec. 2004?
Ronaldinho, Ronaldo or even Zidane wldn't have done that and still expect to win World Footballer of the Year.
Henry cannot eat his cake and have it and he will forever be a second best.
His contribution to France is also Nil. He lacks the bite he has got in the premiership(Weak League) when he plays for his Country.
Ronaldo,Zidane and Ronaldinho always make impact wherever they play be it club or country.
Club performances alone does not make a player world's best footballer but Nairaland gunners are never objective.
They might soon compare Henry to Pele or Maradona.

If u watch the past winners of the awards closely, theres calmness and discipline about their performance on the pitch.
Luiz Ronaldo,Zidane and others will win because their contributions for club and country is unequalled.
In those days, Brazil will not survive without Ronaldo. France cannot do without Zidane but they would not miss Henry.
