Big Brother Nigeria.'gains' And 'loses'
« #544 on: June 22, 2006, 01:46 PM »

Hey Guys,I guess the 'first' edition of Big Brother Nigeria as ended, living with Us a  lot of memories behind. But I will like to know the lessons We the viewers have learnt [Nigerian Youth mostly] and the 'Gain' Nigeria as a Nation have got.
ok,let;s start with Myself, for Me one of the things I learnt was that is not good for a boy and a girl to stay in one place for long. What do you think.?

I think we really got to see Nigerians at their best and worst.
The positives - the intelligence and eloquence (Katung, Joan and Ebuka)
                     - the many diverse talents and creativity (Helen, Franca, Frank, Gideon)
                     - the style (ify)
                     - the ?love (chinedu + joan, maureen + giddy, ebuka + helen, katung+ ify)
                     - that good old Naija confidence and pride!

The negatives - is there a shortage of good men in Naija or something, cause most of the girls were man-hungry!
Actually they were all on heat.
                       - the lies (Chimeta, Franca), back biting, gossiping,
-the agression and tempers (Chinedu and Ify)

Can you imagine Chinedu and Sandra were not even meant to be in the show. There were 2 contestants that backed out. One of the original 14 chosen's boyfriend proposed to her before the show.

Bubu was a good guy, if not for woman trouble he would have gone to the top. katung was the next best thing and he played the game for real.
I hope they really take advantage of this new found fame cause they can all be winners and make a name for themselves, and mondy too

itz not actually just for coming on the show he went through a lot of hell to win the money,
1: he had to contest with 11 other housemates to get the money
2: they were in the Big Brother Nigeria House for completely 3months
3: had to go through a lot of test etc
can't really start listing what they did in the house but the guy deserved the money

The first version was full of eating and socials that are mono perceptive. I think we should think about how to build our country through discussions and sharing experiences.

Lady Kool, this is so "after the fact" that I wonder why I'm commenting but,

There's a BB UK, BB USA, BB Japan, BB Australia, BB Mexico, so like the "Idols" concept, it has been relaunched over and over in different countries , so Naija did their own, notin spoil! Grin

No big deal. Survivor Africa starts September 3rd and has at least 3 nigerians, alonside zimbabweans, zambians etc. Reality TV(trashy Tv if you'd have it!) has come to stay, so if Naija is in on the act, more grease to their elbow!! Wink
