A Country Controller Specialist provides Balance Sheet support to management by advising the Finance organization and ensuring the integrity of the country's balance sheet in accordance with relevant accounting standards.

 

Key responsibilities may include:
• Preparing and/or analyzing complex account reconciliations
• Researching and evaluating specific accounting transactions
• Responsibility for performing multiple functional tasks in day-to-day controllership operations
• Coordinating with service providers
• Maintaining knowledge resources for other finance groups (e.g., accounting transactions / processes)
• Performing monthly review of financial results with finance teams
• Coordinating with other controllership functions
• Analyzing and preparing complex journal entries/adjusting entries
• Performing compliance reviews of various internal controls and procedures
• Supervising and developing Country Controller Analysts
• Responsibility for special projects on an as needed basis, including researching/evaluating complex specific accounting transactions and providing requested support from other organizations within Accenture on significant accounting transactions and/or business events
• Preparing Tax returns, including VAT return and Tax Compliance

Qualifications

• Three plus years financial/management accounting experience
• Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting
• Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
• Maintain a solid base of knowledge/skills in accounting, financial, GAAP and/or internal controls.
