I am not in a position to be objective here, i am not a west brom fan and Frank rijkaard does not control the barcelona fans.
If he didnt say anything in Barca it is because he knows it will amount to nothing, did he respond to robson on saturday or not? even your link showed that he was being restrained so what if his own expression was hidden by the camera? abeeegi, please you and your mourinho should go and prepare for 2007.

Me i am a Machester United fan and i don't really like Chelsea or Mourino either, but i don't have anything against him the way he talks when Manchester United were on top Alex Ferguson also makes bad comments and stuff. Its just how they act when they re champions, but Mourino is just taking it across the line he should cool down abit.

In answer to the Original Question, I say YES, We should blame Mourinho for the Counter-reaction. In fact, if you don't blame Mourinhom, who do you blame?
If the Chelsea coach had learned to pay a little bit of respect to his opponents, things wouldn't have turned out as bad as they did for him when he arrived Barcelona.
Mourinho is not the most-hated coach in football today because of his "success". It is simply because of his vanity, his total lack of respect for opponents, lack of respect for his fellow professionals and the fact that he does not know the meaning of the word "moderation".
He has turned your club into some kind of circus act and instead of being in the news for good things (which he has done quite a lot of), Chelsea and Mourinho are almost always in the news for the wrong reasons.
You can not go round degrading your fellow professionals, insulting the intelligence of other people and expect them to treat you like a King when they meet you. In case you didn't realise, it's not only Chelsea that have paassionate Fans.
The Barca fans did exactly what Chelsea fans would have done if Rijkaard had insulted Mourinho in much the same way Mourinho did to Rijkaard and his team. And trust me, if it was a Turkish team involved, I am sure Mourinho would have been hospitalised.
About the WBA Incident - Just about every manager has figured out the dirty game Mourinho plays and you know what? - Bryan Robson was just playing the game according to Mourinho's Script.

I have spoken to fans who have followed Chelsea for 30 years!! I have listened to Chelsea fans on the radio during phone in's. After the Barca match instead of the "twat" to be gracious in defeat and say they got beat, he started yarning okpaks about how Barca have not beaten them 11 against 11. His own fans rang up later saying that they wished he would be gracious occasionally. He forgets what he and his team have done in the past and starts saying rubbish. He called wenger a voyeur and then he said he has a 120 page dossier on wenger! tell me who is the voyeur? He complains that people dive and cheat (Mesi) but his players do it all the time! His Porto team were also a bunch of divers. I beg my friend shine your eye well well. If my team fcuk up I will tell you, I will not let loyalty blind me. |

He's a coach and got his own nerves. and for those your 30 year chelsea fan, (I'm not as old yet) life if for everyone and for one's self! after supporting a team for over 30 years, are you telling me they want to back off? if you love me, you MUST love my Dog, I don't support chelsea because of Morihno, he's just a dog of whom I love and that is chelsea, I love Chelsea and I love its dogs' if he quit chelsea today, I still remain a true blue! believe me, and besides, I love Morihno style of coaching, He's just too hot to handle, may be thats why they all speak of him! and you know what, its simply ENVY!!! they all envy him. No coach is happy with being beaten but if you are outclassed you have to have the class to admit it and take lessons from it. That is how you learn and improve. Many managers do this even Fergie does it at times but never "the special needs one" The fans I am talking about are not "backing off" they still love Chelsea but they hate the antics of their manager. They think he is taking the gloss of their achievements with his behaviour. And to be honest with you, I must say that for that Barca game Jose got his tactics wrong. Chelsea needed 2 goals to stay in the tie but Murinho did not set his team out to go all for it. They played as if with fear, only Joe Cole tried the rest did not have the passion or drive I would have expected. Why did he play Huth?? so that they can play long ball to him abi? As if we are in primary school! The full backs as well were too cautious and did not want to come forward and support any attacks, due to fear i suppose. Chelsea should have gone for it, if they then lose by 3 - 2 or 4 - 3 at least we can say they tried and it was a good match but not sit there in fear and go out with a whimper. |

I think we have to distinguish between the chelsea fans(true fans) from the chelski fans(Fake/Glory hunters) on this forum. Mourinho to me is the most loud-mouthed manager in europe. His lack of respect for his fellow professional managers and players is appaling. He is just an average manager and he shld be held responsible for chelsea's exit. His tactics at the nou camp was too shallow. He never really pushed his team to get the goals the team needed to take them through. In fact,he wanted a draw so he can always refer to the 1st leg incidents as chelsea's undoing.
As a Manchester United fan, i strongly believe mourinho is a brilliant manager but the funds helped him acheieve what he has achieved. I don't see Jose making the top 4 if he was managing a team like West Brom or Portsmouth. Most managers would have achieved what he has done if not more with the kind of financial backing he has got so he is not SPECIAL! Be that as it may, I simply cannot understand why some people think other managers envy him. Envy him over what? What has he won in england? He is yet to win a treble in england,win UEFA in england and lots more. The difference between Sir Alex/Arsene Wenger and Mourinho is awesome.
Money made chelsea what they were today as a good football club. On the other hand,playing good football made money for Man Utd and Arsenal!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TRUTH OF THE MATTER
Jose was scheduled to go and talk to Andriano in Italy but was asked by Kenyon to attend an important meeting in the hotel before going.
He was fooled to see Cole and his agent in that hotel. we all know Kenyon is not that Intelligent. He arranged a london hotel for such illegal approach.
Up till today, Jose had not forgiven Kenyon even in last year season review, he thanked everybody, naming them one-by-one but exclude Kenyon. Few weeks ago Kenyon want to try to bring David Beckham to Chelsea, Jose refused saying " I want a footballer, i don't want a Hollywood star" Jose admires Cole though.
